High pitch screaming just because she can. How do I make it stop?!

My 16 month old has decided that screaming is fun. She’s not upset about anything just seems to be doing it because she can. It’s ear piercing and I am at a loss as to how to get her to stop. We’ve tried the asking, telling, ignoring, explaining that it hurts our ears and more. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Commiserations also lovely.  Would be nice to know we are not alone fighting this battle.
