October Symptoms

Re: October Symptoms

  • @valerie4786 sorry you're so miserable. I hope the SPD gets better.

@stashattack I've been dealing with some of the nausea when I hold DD sometimes. It's like when my belly gets compressed, baby hits different organs and I feel more "I over ate nausea" instead of sick nausea.

Sorry you are feeling so yucky. This kid is all up in my ribs already and I'm like whyyyyy do I still have 10 weeks to go
  • Thanks ladies!  I just needne to whine to others who get it!  I will say that at least my flu shot arm is feeling better!  🤣
  • @jaceru insomnia here too!!! Up every night between 3-5a, then a quick nap before work 😖
  • @c1kc1kpol1cn1k - my carpel tunnel seems to making a slow comeback too.  Waking up to the occasionally numb hand.  My old brace is sitting next to my bed, just in case, but it hasn't gotten bad enough to use yet.

  • DD has been waking up in the middle of the night around 3 and coming into our room. I put her back to bed and then I am wide awake for the next hour or longer   :s

@c1kc1kpol1cn1k @MollySm and anyone else dealing with carpal tunnel: is there a reason you are using a wrist brace at night rather than during the day while doing activities that exacerbate it?  I only have carpal tunnel during PG (and then only during the end of it,) so I don't have experience using a brace.

I ordered a small wrist brace from Amazon to use while doing a specific exercise that's starting to aggrevate the carpal tunnel, but now I'm wondering if I should look into a more substantial brace to wear while sleeping too.  Do you find that it helps?
  • @cats_in_a_window I find that wearing it at night helps since that is when the actual pain comes, also that's when everything tends to get swollen. I sleep with my arms a bit elevated now since it helps, but eventually will be putting the braces on
  • @c1kc1kpol1cn1k so you're actually experiencing the pain at night then?  That would make sense as to why you're wearing the brace to bed ☺
  • With my last pregnancy, my hand would fall asleep and wake me up every night.  The brace is the only thing that helped with that.
