IUI part 1 complete - 65 million post wash (152 before so much better morph than the SA!) so fingers crossed. Trigger wasn’t bad and I had a .6 temp rise**. I also had some slight ovulation cramping two hours before trigger, but usually I feel way more. I’m wondering if I usually ovulate while awake and this time was during my very crappy sleep or if it was just so much faster this time with the trigger....

**ETA curious as to how fast the trigger may induce ovulation - they didn’t do an ultrasound this morning and I know it can take up to two days so that temp may definitely be a fluke...

@keikilove a hCG trigger shot will give you positive OPKs in the beginning because they are both glycoproteins. So if your level of hCG is high enough it will turn the OPK positive just like the LH being high enough to turn it positive then it will.

@NYTino24 so glad things went well!  That's a great number, too! Thanks for your advice with my craziness yesterday. We got another HIO session in last night, and my temps were elevated again today, so I resumed the progesterone this AM. I also had my usual post-O signs yesterday afternoon, so I am more confident that I O'ed now. My PM OPK was negative, too. Some cycles I get consistently dark OPKs, so I am chalking it up to one of those times. We're doing IUI next cycle so I think while we'll be sad if this is another busted cycle, we know we have help for the next one. 

@keikilove thanks for your advice! My RE says the opposite, to take it 3 days after your surge (so that would be about 2-3 days post O for me). I never heard about progesterone interfering with implantation. I have to take it to lengthen my luteal phase, because my lining starts breaking down and I start spotting around 9DPO. I will ask about that when I see my RE again.

@keikilove I was curious after your question and the answers you got and I took an OPK just now (8 days post trigger and 6 days post IUI) and it was positive. There’s no way I’m still Oing a week later... so i feel the trigger/hCG would totally effect the OPKs.

@kpearse99 there's some belief that you can use OPK strips as substitutes for HPTs if you don't have one. But maybe that's only true for really high amounts of HCG. 🤷‍♀️

@inthewoods23 I’ve read that too... but I’m trying not to get my hopes up. I would think the 250mcg of ovidrel would still be in my system 7 days later... but we shall see in a week. 

My boobs started to become tender today (6 dpiui) but they usually start to feel that way a week before AF sooo.... 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
