I need help this week. H and I are going out of town for our anniversary and one of the nights we are doing this fancy harvest dinner. It’s outdoors, so I’m sure it’ll get cool once the sun goes down. But I need serious help deciding what to wear!
@miss.sally I vote for 1, 2, or 4! I love a jean jacket and think with any of those you could pull off the trendy but fancy vibe. A bomber or leather jacket draped over your shoulders would look great too!
@miss.sally #2 really pops to me because I get a nice fall vibe from it, but I honestly don't think you could go wrong with any of them - you look great in all of them!
Thanks friends! I have an awesome leather jacket but I’m not 100% sure it fits atm. I’ll see. I’m leaning toward the leopard print because it’s the most comfy. It has a low back which I love. I think Im taking out the floral skirt because I had a hard time sitting in it and also being able to breathe. Lol. But it makes me feel like maternity Barbie so I love it nonetheless.
@miss.sally, I'm impressed you own so many cute dresses, lol! Please come up my house and choose a new wardrobe for me! You look so cute in all of them, but I like 1 and 2 the best.
@miss.sally you look gorgeous in all three. I think the second one is most appropriate for an outdoor harvest dinner and it would look good with a jean jacket. Have an amazing time!
@miss.sally I love them all, but I'd go with 1 or 2, leaning towards two ONLY bc it's outdoors. #1 is my actual fave.
@kantobean OooOoo you popped! I can't wait. I feel like I am wearing shit now where it's totally obvious but then not obvious enough for ppl to ask? Even though it's way obvs to me? Also maybe ppl just know/learned it's rude to ask a lady if she's PG?
14w4w FTM lol at my bitmoji-head's awk placement... just was psyched it was in vector!
@miss.sally Iike #4 (leopard print) most for the event, but #1 is my overall favorite and you look amazing! I want to borrow all your dresses. And, happy anniversary!
@kagesstarshroom I hope people have just learned not to ask if a woman is pregnant! Honestly most bump comments are rude from people. I was told yesterday I don’t look pregnant after saying I was and that hurt too. My MIL and her mom are always saying how I’m not showing much and that also hurts. Then the comments at the end last time were like “oh wow you’ve still got a month how are you going to make it?” 😳 Or my favorite backhanded comment “you look tired, you know you should sleep while you can because you won’t be able to once baby gets here”. Gee thanks I had no idea, I’ll just tell my bladder I don’t need to wake up 4+ times a night to pee... People suck

13w4d, FTM- I feel like I’m starting to show with tighter clothing and when my top is hiked up you can see a bump under, it’s so cute. People at work are starting to look at my belly! But it’s no secret and I can’t wait to pop a bit more. It’s more noticeable from the front. My big chest makes it all confusing though.
Omg @varimama the backhanded comments are the WORST. And I feel like they’re constant toward the end of pregnancy. I also HATE people touching my belly. MIL was the worst about it. She would use her nails and it felt awful. I actually have an over-active nerve that causes extremely painful belly spasms so that happened once when she touched my belly and I started crying and almost fell over. She never touched me again. Lol. It’s definitely a good excuse (I have a hard time telling people no).
And I am so jealous of all these bump pictures. I don’t have a bump hardly at all!! Hoping soon because I keep seeing cute maternity clothes I want to buy lol
@EmilyLove25 did you puke more/longer with your son?
@varimama YAS to everything you said. People should refrain from saying anything about anyone's midsection. When I was in CO my mom said "isn't it crazy how much sooner you show with your second pregnancy," which I know is true, and I doubt she meant anything malicious by it, but my ears heard "wow you're so much bigger this time." And then the last couple days a few people (including my OB's nurse) said that I'm not really showing at all or that they had no idea I'm pregnant... and that sucked too because I thought I was showing. If people don't think I'm pregnant, they certainly must think I'm fat.
@miss.sally they all look great! You'll be a stunner in whichever you choose, but I'm partial to #1 & #2
@stassischroeder YES! I puked sort of normally with DD... maybe weeks 7-13. With DS it was constant until the very end. SLIGHTLY better in the second trimester, but that meant I was "only" puking three times a day. I gained a total of 8 pounds. For a while I was at 12 pounds, but my last weigh in I was at 8 pounds... and he was over 8 pounds... so my god was I sick! It isn't NEARLY that bad this time but persistence here at 16 weeks makes me think boy
@EmilyLove25 that's so odd!!! Well, not really since science doesn't back up any of the pregnancy symptom sex/gender myths, but almost everyone i know - myself included - was sicker (more sick?) when carrying a girl.
@stassischroeder I know! And I've heard that is the ONE thing science SLIGHTLY backs up---re: sicker with girl pregnancies (at least I read that somewhere haha). So weird. I think my body just hates males and penises and was rebelling.
@stassischroeder and @EmilyLove25 I was/am WAY sucked with both boy pregnancies than my DD also! It’s funny because most of my friends have had the same thing.

Here’s my 16w2d bump!
Nobody “outed” me before I announced, haha. Now I feel like people are starting to stare at my midsection if they’re not sure. Haha
