I'm going to use my Alamo Draft House Season Pass to see Downton Abby for no other reason than I want to go to a movie by myself and neither of my men will want to go!
@kbrown2385 ahahha that's awesome, my husband wouldn't even know what to do with that movie. I'll hopefully find someone to go with or I'll just go by myself
DH and I watched the first few seasons together but he won't watch because it is too sad and he doesn't like things that are always sad. I don't have time to watch TV without him so I'm not caught up otherwise I would go see it....
Ive never seen downton abby. i think i would like it but missed the first season or 2 & I think it was on on a sunday night here when I was always out or away somewhere.
Ladies, I really liked it. I haven't seen any episodes since Season 2, but I followed the plot line. Honestly you don't need them. If you know who the characters are... That's pretty much enough.
I'm going through this weird midlife crisis nostalgia thing where I'm so sick of technology making everything bigger and better and louder and...ugh. This was JUST a movie. No flashy CGI. No big explosions. No super heroes. No plot holes. Just. A. Movie.
When I watched Murder on the Orient Express, I remember telling my mom, we need more movies like this... I got one.
