Nausea

is anyone else dealing with all day nausea?  If so any tips?  I have only thrown up a handful of times, but the all day every day nausea is starting to wear on me.  Has anyone tried the unisom b6 combo?  Does it help?  I didn’t have nausea like this with my first two.  😩

Re: Nausea

  • There’s been a lot of discussion about nausea in the August Symptoms thread. You should check it out.

  • I haven’t had all day nausea it just comes and goes. I am exactly 8 weeks now so I’m worried it’s just going to get worse. I haven’t tried the Unisom (I think that’s what diclectin is here in Canada) but I’ve heard from lots of people it helps! Worth a shot forsure!
  • @rae2919 I do take unisom/b6 and it does help quite a bit for me. I took it last pregnancy also. It really only works if you take it daily preventatively, not as needed. I take it nightly.
  • @rae2919 Not sure if this would work for full blown nausea, but the thing that's helping me right now is jellybean candy or skittles or sour patches. every time i feel a wave of nausea i eat a couple and i start to feel better.

I’ve taken it the last two nights and I do think it’s made a difference!  I’ve also been trying to make sure I eat some protein every few hours during the day and I actually feel like I can function a bit!
  • @sanpelligrino funny you mentioned the candy.. last time I went grocery shopping I gave myself permission to buy some candy to suck on for the nausea! It does help!

Then today I binged on half a bag of skittles.
