    Team finding out/pink/blue/green: Green

Baby is the size of a(n): Denise's pygmy sea horse

    Upcoming appts: This Wednesday!!

How are you feeling?: Felt awful all weekend, but Sunday was the worst.  I think my husband thinks that I'm slacking off, because he's been doing a ton of yard work and work on our bathrooms lately, while I work on 1-2 naps each weekend day.  I got my act together yesterday and made a bunch of freezer meals for the week, but the smell of the chicken in the instant pot did me in, and he had to shred that chicken for me, I just couldn't deal with it.

Rants/Raves: This overwhelming exhaustion on the weekend stinks.  I'm glad I can deal with it at work (although I have been yawning a lot more during the day), but it seems like when the weekend finally rolls around, I just don't have the energy to do ANYTHING

Questions: Roller coasters while in early pregnancy (gentle ones like at Disney), vs high impact workouts, like running or F45.  My understanding is that you can keep doing your normal exercise routine through 1st trimester (assuming no other pregnancy concerns), even running and plyometrics.  It seems weird to me that roller coasters like Space Mountain would be off limits?  Is that from amusement parks being too concerned with potential liability, or is there something else going on that makes them dangerous for pregnant ladies?

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?  Paris!  I spent a summer there after college and just loved the city.  I always thought that would be my choice for another city to live in.  Excited to be giong back in a few weeks for a visit!

    Team finding out/pink/blue/green: finding out!

Baby is the size of a(n): gummy bear 🐻

Upcoming appts: NIPT blood draw on August 30, midwife September 3.

How are you feeling?: soooo nauseous and tired today! It’s a struggle to get through the workday.

Rants/Raves: Can’t wait to get into second trimester so I can tell people and feel better/ show more of a bump! Right now it just looks like I ate 6 tacos 🌮 I also need to buy more pants, mine are too tight.

    Questions: nothing at this time.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Maui! Hubby and I didn’t want to leave after vacation, we always dream of escaping to Maui

  • @julia_xo I can relate to the symptoms! I feel the same, it’s terrible but also reassuring lol! And yes, valid question about the roller coasters. I always wondered why too.
  • EDD/W+D: 3/28/20 8wks 2days

    Team finding out/pink/blue/green: finding out

Baby is the size of a(n): raspberry

Upcoming appts: dating ultrasound on 9/4

How are you feeling?: still nauseous and sore boobs, but it’s either lessening or I’m just getting used to it because it’s more “background” noise now.

Rants/Raves: I’ve gained 5lbs, but I guess that’s to be expected... I told my parents yesterday and they were so thrilled. We spent the afternoon discussing baby names.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? So, I’m from Maryland, and I live in Maryland I personally think it’s the best place in the world, but other than that I would probably choose to live maybe in California or the Mediterranean, somewhere where it’s less humid and warm all year round!
  • @julia_xo I read somewhere that you can’t ride roller coasters in 1st tri because the G forces could actually cause the fetus to detach and you could miscarry. But I just googled it and a lot of articles say there’s no evidence of this. Obviously by 2nd or 3rd tri you cant be secured in the car properly due to the baby bump!

    Team finding out/pink/blue/green: Finding out

Baby is the size of a(n): Raspberry

Upcoming appts: 8/30 I’ll have the full work up. Blood draw, ultrasound, etc.

How are you feeling?: Feeling really decent considering this is the first tri. This has definitely been my easiest out of all 4 pregnancies so far, as far as symptoms go.

Rants/Raves: I’ve had some energy back the last two days which is so nice!

    Questions:

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? I honestly enjoy living here in CA. I’d love a vacation house in Hawaii, but I wouldn’t be able to do heat and humidity year round. I love Fall and Winter.
  • EDD/W+D: 3/27, 8+3

    Team finding out/pink/blue/green: Finding out

Baby is the size of a(n): Raspberry

Upcoming appts: NIPT blood work on 9/3 + another u/s.

How are you feeling?: Eeek! I never had nausea with my DS and I'm currently beginning week #3 of it. I'm managing it better with small meals and flu friendly foods, but I'm hoping it eases up in a week or two. I do have pockets throughout the day where I have no nausea, but it's terrible in the AM and from 4-6pm. Blah.

    Rants/Raves: Eagerly awaiting 2nd tri!

    Questions:

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? South of France 😊

How are you feeling?: Right now? I gotta pee! But In the middle of an office meeting lol. Been feeling nauseous on and off since finding out, especially in the mornings. Have only puked twice (so far !) also in the mornings.

Rants/Raves: So over eating allllll the time! I love food but not enough to want to eat every 3-4 hours of the day.

Questions: Anyone else been diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma?
