What's going on this week? Baby is the size of a folded pair of sunglasses. Rubbery cartilage is turning into bone.

How far along are you? 17w1d

Upcoming appointments? Midwife on the 22nd, MFM growth scan and possible amnio on the 23rd

Cravings/Symptoms? I’m all about the blt’s lately. Also I’m easily persuaded with food. We had Chinese food last night because I saw something about pork fried rice....and it was so good lol.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? Today I have to go to ds’ preschool to get his tuition paid and hand in some paperwork. We went and picked out his backpack and lunch box yesterday. I also got him some super cute new shoes. He somehow skipped size 10 and went from 9 straight to 11. Clearly I have been paying attention lol.

Questions? Has anyone had anemia? Anything I should be looking out for? Kind of wondering if my exhaustion is somehow related.

@kbrown2385 - I've heard that kid's shoes are supposed to last two sizes. So if you buy 5s, they last until 7s fit them. That's never really been true of DD though, so.
I was anemic as a teenager, and I think beside fatigue, my only other symptom was craving ice.

What's going on this week? Baby's tip of the thump is the size of a match tip 🤷 That's what the Bump said. Baby has been balling up into my right side this week, making it almost feel like I'm having BHs.

Upcoming appointments? anatomy scan on the 3rd

Cravings/Symptoms? fatigue is getting better, haven't had nausea the past two days, the aches have begun

Rants/Raves/Randoms? I finally got DD on medicine for her heart, but it's been a hassle, because the only pharmacy in town that makes compounds is in the hospital. Which makes the whole ordeal to pick up her medicine about 45 minutes long. And it only last 14 days. 

Questions? Anyone know when MrsJessS comes back from vacation? Is she the only other TTGPer that normally participates?

@kbrown2385 I was anemic last pregnancy. It didn’t seem to have a huge effect on me as I was already exhausted anyway. I mostly forgot about it until the OB said I was no longer anemic during 3rd tri. Hope you don’t end up with any weird symptoms. Thinking of you and especially your baby girl. 

@marebear15 TB tidbits each day usually make me laugh. They are so random.

@kbrown2385 I became anemic half way through my last pregnancy. Feeling of being tired and the ice craving for sure. I asked for blood tests to confirm and will do the same this time just in case

Thanks everyone! Maybe ill have my ob test me just to be sure. I haven’t been taking iron in my prenatal and the exhaustion is still as bad as it was in the beginning. I haven’t been craving ice or anything weird so who knows. I’ve heard it can be more common carrying twins so I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry.
