red blood cell low- lab results

my first round of lab results just got posted and my red blood cell parameters (RBC, HgB and Hct) are all low. I normally run very high and am confused bc I thought your blood volume is increasing. Has anyone else had their Red Blood Cell counts drop and if so did you have to do anything or is it normal?

    Hi there. One-off posts like this are discouraged. This belongs in the symptoms thread.

    Please read the pinned post titled “Read This First.” And then feel free to participate.

    That being said, I have a tendency (even when not pregnant) to anemia and the low RBC is usually my first sign. I would talk to your doctor about what s/he recommends. Likely you will need to get more bloodwork done so they can determine the cause and will advise you about what to do from there.

    ETA anemia in pregnancy is super common.
