How are you feeling?: Thought nausea was done, seems it’s not. Still tired a lot- serious naps this weekend did me wonders.
Rants/Raves: I am so happy the news is finally out! We told my stepson (age 8) Saturday and social media afterwards. It feels so much more real!

I’ve joked about it being Rihanna’s “We Found Love (in a hopeless place)” because I had a friend who used to joke that everyone who hooked up when they were in Baghdad swore that was their song (and that’s where we met). He’d probably say John Legend’s “All of Me” bc he’s a romantic ❤️

How are you feeling?: Exhausted, and super uncomfortable due to constipation
Rants/Raves: Tonight has been nice and slow at work, so all I did was some out dating, and then snuggled fresh babies all night in the nursery, including little 4-lb twins 😍
Questions: Anyone have luck with any kind of medicine that helps with constipation without giving you diarrhea? I’ve never been like this!
GTKY: “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC. At senior prom, a few years before we started seriously dating, we danced together to this song! I don’t know why I remember dancing to this particular song.

How are you feeling?: Still very tired, nausea now just hits randomly, food aversions still strong lol.
Rants/Raves: Got our NIPT testing back and everything looks good! Such a relief!!!

When DH and I first started dating we would drive around in his Jeep with the top and doors off everywhere we went. Every time the song came on DH would scream sing it and it would play ALL of the time since it just came out.

How are you feeling?: Pretty darn human again. Nausea is completely gone, although it looks like indigestion is sticking around for the long haul. Slightly tired, but no longer exhausted. I'm still struggling with pregnancy insomnia, but that's probably my biggest symptom now.
Rants/Raves: At our NT scan they said we have no markers for Downs and that baby's brain is developing on track so that was nice to hear!

When we'd been dating for only about a month, we saw her preform it live, just Jewel and her guitar on stage. That night we said 'I love you' for the first time which we later admitted we never would have done so soon if it hadn't been for the magic of the night. It was our wedding song, and it's been kind of a pillar in my life. Did I say and do everything I had in my heart and walk away feeling satisfied in love, in work, in relationships, in the face of fear... Did I live some and do I feel satisfied?

Rants/Raves: NT test was normal. I have started baby aspirin to try to prevent pre-E like last time. Feeling pretty good!

How are you feeling?: I was feeling better for awhile but back to feeling tired. I hope it passes!
Rants/Raves: Missed last weeks check in because of surgery which thank G*D went well. Baby is perfect and I have had 5 ultrasounds since the surgery. I even got to seem him today at my follow up, sitting back all chill with his little arm behind his head and his thumb in his mouth, with his legs crossed.

GTKY: What is “your song” with your SO? What is the story behind it? We love music so we have so many! One of my favorites is "Il piu grande spettacolo" by Jovanotti (italian artist) -- which was popular when we went to our first concert together to see him live.

Baby is the size of a(n): Tube of lipstick (I can’t believe how big our little one is getting!)
Upcoming appts: Friday for our genetic screening.
How are you feeling?: Normal! I’m glad that my first trimester was over the summer so I could be nauseous and sleep on my couch. I go back to work tomorrow and I’m excited to tell my co-workers.
Rants/Raves: My husband can’t come to my next appointment because if work and the time of it. I totally get it and am fine with it. I asked my mom to come and she is already playing bridge that day and can’t be bothered to not go to that. I’ve come to the conclusion that my feelings are hurt. I just thought she would come at the drop of a hat. I’m just sad about it.

GTKY: What is “your song” with your SO? What is the story behind it? We danced to ‘Have it all’ by Jason Mraz at our wedding. I’ve always loved Jason Mraz and the song came out last spring right before our wedding. It conveyed everything I wanted it to. I played it for him and he agreed.

How are you feeling?: Normalish? Still some slight waves of nausea. Still tired. But now getting some pains in pelvis (round ligament maybe?)
Rants/Raves: still having some spotting because of my SCH . Tired of feeling anxious every time I go to the bathroom. But luckily doctor said it’s improving!
