Re: FFFC 8.2

  • I found the limit on too much screen time for DS yesterday. I was just so exhausted but he was a nightmare to put to bed so I need to tone it back and get more creative no matter how badly I feel from now on 😬

  • @MrsVP614 we watched an hour before nap, 40 minutes after nap, and about 1.5 hours before dinner. Usually it’s just 20 min after nap and 45-1hr before dinner. He just melted down for every step of bedtime, and then refused to go to sleep. It took almost 2 hours to get him to fall asleep. I think he just didn’t get enough energy out so I hope I can do better today!

@varimama we’re on vacation and have been soooo lax with all of the routines... and are definitely “paying for it.” Kiddo (16mo) has been missing naps and eating so many sweets and staying up late and melting down constantly! It’s too late now, but I’ve learned my lesson!
  • @mrsvp614 donuts sound so good. I’m definitely going to get one today. Lol

Edit: damn it why does my phone keep double posting!!
  • My FFFC: DD and I have gotten into a really lazy morning routine. It’s hard for us to get out of the house before 9. Right now it’s 9:10 and we are still in pajamas.

she used to be such an early riser and I’m really enjoying sleeping in, but next week when I go back to work and have to be out of the house by 7:30, it’s going to be a big shock for us both. Thankfully, H will be on drop off duty and he doesn’t have to leave until around 8.
  • FFFC 1:  Same as @kantobean.  I LOVE sleeping in and have been taking full advantage all summer.  DD didn't get up today until 8:30 and it was glorious.  Transition back to school is going to be ROUGH though.

FFFC2:  I read the BMB on Babycenter on a daily basis.  It is insane and like reality TV and leaves me feeling astonished, thankful for my own situation, and a little sad for a lot of other people.  Part of my FFFC is that I have an endless amount of empathy and patience for students with cognitive impairments, but so much less patience for stupid adults which I realize are often the same people - just grown up.

  • @laurenm2123 You’re speaking my language! I do NOT want to have sex right now.
@EmilyLove25 I’m with you on the Trump supporters. I just don’t understand. I can’t post anything political because of work, so I just have to judge and stew in silence.
@keeksie84 I haven’t looked at baby center since my last pregnancy and now I’m curious.

  • @kantobean DD had Goldfish and a chocolate covered pretzel for dinner. Her choice, of course.

  • Lol @kantobean DS ate three granola bars yesterday so that he would be quiet while we walked around some stores. And then for dinner he had about 25 raspberries and an rx bar. I give zero effs right now.
  • I ate an entire bag of sweet Maui onion chips yesterday.
