When to announce??

My partner and I want to announce my pregnancy to the in-laws but his brother and girlfriend's baby just arrived 10 days ago.  We have told my family but are waiting to tell his family just yet because we don't want to take the spot light from them and their new arrival.  What amount of time, if any at all, is appropriate to wait to share our news with his side of the family in this situation?  We want to share our news so badly but we also want to be sensitive to his brother and girlfriend.

Hey, girl! Have you already introduced yourself on the intro thread? Also, there is a thread called "pregnancy announcements" where people discuss how/when etc. I also believe people have discussed when to tell people (family, work, etc) in the weekly questions thread. 

AFM, I'd be excited if I was your partner's brother and girlfriend. Their LO is going to have a cousin pretty close in age. YAY!
