Questions: For those of you who have children already, how did you decide to announce what you were having? I was wondering if it’s worth a gender reveal or just telling everyone. And I’d like ideas 🙂

How are you feeling?: Morning sickness has officially passed and my acne is even starting to clear up!
Rants/Raves: We had the best weekend at home, just the two of us. During the summer we’re usually boating or hanging out with family so it was amazing to take a weekend to ourselves. We got some projects done, and even painted a dresser and nightstand to go in the nursery. They turned out so good and now I’m really excited to find out the gender so we can start decorating it!
GTKY: If you were on death row, what would you pick as your last meal? For some reason, this question was a little too heavy/disturbing to read this morning lol, but I’d probably say fettuccine alfredo with breadsticks and a salad, and a side of cookie dough ice cream.

How are you feeling?: Pretty good other than the fatigue.
Rants/Raves: Our dog is sick 😭 He’s still a puppy and has vomiting, pooping straight liquid blood, runny nose, tired and weak. We are taking him to the emergency vet this afternoon.

How are you feeling?: I feel pretty good! I can’t believe I’m going to start 2nd tri this week. I had an appointment on Thursday. I’ve been having some spotting, so the doc wanted to check things out on the US just to make sure everything looked ok. She was kicking away in there! It was such a relief. Still having some bleeding, but trying to stay calm and remember that she looked fine on Thursday.
Rants/Raves: Rant is bleeding or spotting during pregnancy. It freakin sucks. Rave is that 2nd tri is one day away!

@taylork2020 that’s so fun to start nursery projects! It makes it feel so much more real. I bought some girl clothes over the weekend. I need to reign it in!
@kmj1426 I’m so sorry to hear about your puppy. I have three dogs and it’s so scary when they are sick. Hope he gets well soon.

How are you feeling?: Feeling pretty normal again. Have the whole, " Am I still pregnant?" feeling again. So I am anxious for my next appointment.
Rants/Raves: Rave. We had my daughters yearly pictures and baby announcement picture taken this weekend. I am SO excited to get them back. Rant. My husband has been dealing with some health issues the last 10 years and they have escalated recently. He has been going to the doctor to try and figure things out but in the meantime, I am massively struggling on how best to support him. I have been supportive, but after this long I have NO clue what to say to him anymore other than I am sorry. Long story short, he CONSTANTLY feels dehydrated. He literally drinks 5 gallons of water a day and still feels like he needs more. Doctors have told him he is not dehydrated but something is just not right with him. He also has stomach pain and lot and will randomly get sick. He is also working a job currently where he is having to get up at 3:15, so he is EXHAUSTED. Between all of this, he is just at an all time low, and it breaks my heart. I feel like it is supposed to be super exciting right now, and it is anything but that. I just pray he gets an answer soon. I miss my happy, fun loving husband and seeing him how he is right now just is killing me.

Upcoming appts: next tuesday. It was supposed to be tomorrow but I had to travel cross country last minute for work.
How are you feeling?: the nausea is lightening up, but it still comes in waves. Also starting to feel headaches.
Rants/Raves: work has been so busy these days which sucks because I just want to catch up on the hump or search for cute baby clothes on Etsy.

How are you feeling?: Better again today. I didn't sleep Sunday night and was generally having lack of sleep stomach problems yesterday. Starting to get the round ligament pain as well.
Rants/Raves: Rave - We started painting the nursery this weekend!
Rant - For some reason I thought the second trimester didn't start until week 14 and now I feel like I missed out on celebrating the start of trimester 2.
Questions:
GTKY: If you were on death row, what would you pick as your last meal? My husband's homemade lasagna and bread with my mom's Greek salad (that doesn't contain peppers because ew), and corn on the cob. For dessert, since it's my last meal I am having both apple pie and cheesecake.
ETA my rant because I forgot it.
ETA 2 With my last meal I would also have a nice dry red, maybe a Sangiovese or a Chianti.

Questions: Anyone have suggestions as to how to find mom groups IRL? No one in my area (Brooklyn, ny) seems to be active on the Bump boards and all the meetups on other pages seem to be years dead. We're also not religiously affiliated.

At least a dozen oysters, a well curated cheese plate (gooier and stinker the better thx), a good chonk of bread, some raspberries, and a glass of champagne (like the real stuff pls). (Sorry this sounds so pretentious...)

Questions: I had a checkup last week with ultrasound and the heart was beating but the baby was not moving AT ALL. Over like 20 min, even with the technician jiggling my belly and having me get up and dance around. They didn’t express worry but I’m wondering - has this happened for you??
