@chichiphin the same year DH & I got married, our friends had their outdoor DIY wedding in July, where we all went to help set up beforehand etc. & then since DH & I lived in the same city the wedding was in, a bunch of our friends who'd also volunteered to set up came back to our (1 bath) rowhome to shower & get ready. So we were hot THREE times: setting up, during the ceremony, and during the reception. All outside. ::upside down smiley face:: ANYWAY, I sign your petition, is my point.

My WTF: I can't find something I borrowed from someone & was supposed to scan and mail back to them & it could be anywhere & I am... overdue on the mailing it & starting to worry bc I really don't know where I put it? I know I have it in the house somewhere though. I'm about to get out my St. Anthony prayer...

Driver's talking on cell phones who hit people.  I have a fusion in my neck from 10 yrs ago.  Hit twice by a woman on her cell. 3 surgeries later - One of the nerves gets caught and stays caught.  It's been a week with no relief. Off most of meds that help and also accupuncturist won't see me.  Ok that's the end of my whining.

Mine is my endocrinologist. Without going into a lot of details she left me a very confusing my chart message about my lab results where she got the numbers wrong, forgot I was pregnant, accused me of skipping doses of my meds, and told me I needed to get a bunch of non pregnancy safe tests done ASAP and then didn’t respond to me for over a week even though the portal is supposed to be response in 2 business days. I had to call multiple times and finally I get a call back and it’s just her nurse asking what my issues are... 😡

WTF to these Republicans yelling at Mueller. He is a Purple Heart recipient and literally just doing his job. Lol. Don't yell! Also, bless this man, his stoicism is giving me life. "Did your report exonerate Trump?" "No." Lol, lol, lol!

WTF to my daycare lady who made me tell her I'm KU. It's a small-town, in-home daycare (there aren't any centers here), so she was planning on taking on a newborn next spring so was letting her daycare families know that she couldn't take any more infants. Uuuuummmm well that's a problem. So, I had to tell her I'm KU (apparently one other existing daycare mom is too), so I'm just hoping that the news doesn't get spread like wildfire around this small town. In the end, she ended up telling the new family that she can't take their infant so that she can take mine, so I suppose it's all good. But yeah, didn't really want to tell anyone at 6 weeks.

@bluguitarhannah Oh man, I hope you get some relief ASAP!!  That doesn't sound fun at all.  People who are stuck on their cell phones while driving are the literal worst.

@varimama Wow, that is NOT okay at all.  Sounds very unprofessional and I'd be livid (and confused)!

@stassischroeder Aw, hopefully your daycare provider will keep her mouth shut, but I know how small towns are so don't be too stressed if word spreads relatively quickly.  It'll all be okay.   

My big WTF right now is with people who think they need to know EVERYTHING even when it is absolutely none of their business.  The sense of entitlement people think they have is astonishing sometimes.

@stassischroeder boo. Did you ask her to keep her mouth shut? I grew up in a small town so I know how quickly things get around. Still doesn’t make it ok. 


My WTF today goes to my toddler who kept me up for THREE hours in the middle of the night for god knows what reason. So now I feel like the walking dead and I had to go grocery shopping.

Can I have two? Last summer when DH thought we had $ to spare & just spent it w/out asking me permission, he made a zillion purchases--well, I just tried to cancel the charge for the iPad he got talk/text AND data for--it's only $13/month, but I'm literally counting pennies right now--and it's under contract til May & would cost more to cancel the contract than to keep paying it every month. I'm just like 😡😡😡.

@stassischroeder that sucks, and hopefully she keeps her mouth shut! I’m glad it’s gonna work out for her to take both kids though. My daycare had a year long waitlist with DD so I remember doing the tour at like 11 weeks pregnant and booking a spot. Daycare is so nuts! I guess I’ll have to tell them as soon as DD goes back in September to secure a spot.

My WTF is so boring but just the nausea and exhaustion! I feel like such a lackluster mom because i feel like shit and have zero energy. I’m also in the process of unpacking our house from a pod and putting everything back together which is super exhausting too.

@stassischroeder That's annoying! I'm also wondering when we will need to tell daycare about our incoming infant. DS is switching daycares in a few weeks, so I want to feel it out and make sure we're happy there first.

All of my WTFs are dealing with my ILs right now. They've been with us since Monday night, since FIL has had appointments and an upcoming surgery for his cancer. The hospital is here, and they live 1.5 hours away. Problem is, MIL won't drive in our city, so DH and I have to re-work our daily lives to get them from point A to point B, even though they're grown adults.
The hospital forgot to do an x-ray Tuesday, so he had to go back yesterday morning, which meant I had to drive 20 minutes back downtown, literally across the street from my job that I had left less than an hour prior, to pick them up. Then yesterday evening, the hospital calls to say he has pneumonia, so his surgery will be pushed back and he needs to be admitted, either back home at their hospital, or here. Without even consulting us, MIL CHOSE TO STAY HERE, instead of her own home and bed, so we will have to continue driving her to and from. Since this pushes back his surgery, this extends the time she'll be staying with us, and in less than 48 hours, we're already losing our minds. She legit opened our bedroom door yesterday morning (I was at work) and asked DH when he was waking up, like he was in high school. 
It also sucks, because she spoils DS rotten and he acts out a certain way when she's here. I have absolutely no alone time with my kid, and he acts like we're chopped liver when she's around, so I'm a bitter hag. 

If you're still with me (sorry) I also need to say, I absolutely hate what they're going through, and know they're in a tough spot so I'm trying to be as sensitive as possible.

@MrsVP614 I’m so sorry! That is completely insensitive of them to not even consult you. Can you have YH talk to them about some boundaries like not opening bedroom door and reducing the spoiling of your DS since they will be there so long? Maybe make a family day with just YH and DS and get out and do something just the 3 of you? Do you know how long they will be staying now?

@laurenm2123 -  yes to the nausea and exhaustion.. that is one of my wtf's too.  DH only has added to the misery, ranting about the house not being as clean as usual... sorry, but I feel like crap, and some days it's a struggle to even get off the couch - plus I'm dealing with a rowdy DS, who doesn't know the meaning of giving me a day off.  Just wish he'd pitch in instead of whining about it and making me feel even worse.  I feel like DH doesn't believe me that I really am this sick, he thinks I'm faking it or something.  He even had the nerve to say 'You're not even that pregnant yet."   GRrrrrrrr....

my other wtf.. meetings with my coworker.  she lives to disagree with everything I say, so meetings are extremely unproductive since all she wants to do is argue.  she either tries to steal credit for my ideas, or, if she can't steal credit, then she tries to down my ideas and act like they're all crap.  not the stress I need while dealing with the 1st tri ickiness.

@stassischroeder, I hear you on the small town thing.  Once one person hears something, you might as well tell the whole town - along with a few exaggerations.  I grew up in that atmosphere and was a victim of the small town rumor mill more than once.

@treetop19 your DH needs a serious throat punch. I was getting ragey reading your post! I guess I'm extremely lucky that my DH has been amazing, super helpful, and is CERTAINLY not doubting my symptoms. He'd lose his left nut if he said what your H said to you!

@MrsVP614 reading your post is making my blood boil! HOW can people be so incredibly oblivious, inconsiderate, and tone deaf?????

WTF to my body and my doctors. Since my ER experience Saturday I’ve been playing phone tag between my gastro, my OB, the lab, and my pharmacy trying to figure out exactly what is going on and how they want to treat it. Why is healthcare so uncoordinated!? The result is I’m being treated for IBS and/or hemorrhoids plus found out that I’m GBS positive so now need antibiotics for that. Thankfully none of that really affects the baby, when properly treated, but omg how many ridiculous health issues can one hormonal pregnant woman handle!?

@treetop19 I'm sorry you're dealing with you husbands bullshit.  I would lose my GD mind on my husband if he said something like that to me and he knows it - I think at this point in our marriage he's too afraid to pull something like that.  I hope that he starts pitching in instead of whining.  

@MrsVP614 Your in law saga is stressing me out!  It sounds like you're handling it way better than I would have - especially considering the hormones. 

AFM, in rare form I don't actually have a WTF this week!  My parents came home from vacation so I'm no longer stressed about keeping their cat, their dog and my grandma alive and well (they're all doing relatively great).  I guess if anything, I'm just suuuuuuuper tired and stressed about the SCH that was found on my US last week.  I go in tomorrow for my scheduled viability scan and am hoping to see it shrinking.

@sivosk @treetop19 @varimama Thank you for making me feel like my feelings are justified and I’m not crazy. DH has now demanded his sister come to drive them around, because he can’t take it anymore. But that’s also another person in our house to drive us crazy. Tomorrow, we’re going to the aquarium with my family, so I will get a much needed break and enjoy some time with DS. 😊

@momoftoddlers hi there! What did your GI say they can do about the IBS? For the past couples years I experience sudden lower abdominal pains followed by a BM then relief. It would happen maybe once a month randomly or sometimes after drinking too much lol. GI said maybe IBS. But now that I’m pregnant it has been happening almost EVERY night! I was on a low carb diet before I got pregnant so the biggest thing I’ve changed in my diet is adding a bunch of wheat grains n healthy carbs. So I’ve tried to cut out wheat which is a trigger for some IBS types and that does seem to help! But IBS has diff types (constipation vs diarrhea vs mixed type) so maybe u can test some changes in ur diet to see if that relieves any of ur IBS symptoms. It seriously SUCKS so I def have the same WTF as you guuuuuurl!! Good to hear it doesn’t affect baby tho bc my anxiety is through the roof praying I don’t MC since I’ve been having cramping throughout the day too. Hope u get some relief and answers soon!!
