Let's try and make this one fun, guys! Maybe no mention of deli meat or hot dogs... and let's keep these "flame free" this is a safe space  B).

  • @DDRRT1982 haha DS is young enough that I can pull that on him too! If we don’t want to share a food or drink, all we have to say is that it has beer in it 😆

  • @DDRRT1982 Bahah! That's hilarious! I love it!

  • @doodleoodle I'm a terrible Mom- I hate playing any of those things with my kid! I love that he does imaginative play now, but I do not want to sit on the floor or be part of any of his story lines. He'll probably be super happy and relieved to have a sibling in the end haha.

  • I have been so bored and not focused at work lately, that I have started to rewatch Jersey Shore from the beginning. :#
  • @doodleoodle Agreeeee. I despise playing dolls and stuff like that. And my daughter always ends up making one of them to be a brat, and then I have to be the Mom and reprimand them and it is SO annoying. I always end up telling her that I am done playing since she wants her Barbies to act like brats. lol
  • A manager from another department decided to approve a project that doesn't really fall into what we do. I'm manager of the creative team and even though I'm very upset - a part of me can't wait to rip him a new one at a meeting on Monday. He's out today so I sent a very detailed and sassy email that I needed to talk to him and that things need to go through me when dealing with my department.

  • @bg122785 I sometimes make the doll I am playing with be a brat just to spice things up, and then DD1 gets upset 😂
  • @daffodil_shoe that really grinds my gears as well. Mainly because I had a true emergency, followed by ptsd. I still struggle with that birth and it was 8 yrs ago. I never bring it up irl because I also can't stand the "my birth was worse than your birth" game, but I do wish people were a bit more sensitive.
But I wish that often about a lot of things lol.
  • @jennv0701 that’s part of why it drives me nuts. I’ve consoled moms who had to be put under and didn’t get to lay eyes on their new baby for hours because they had to recover in PACU. (Though not all emergencies require being put under if they had an epidural that was strong enough to make it through surgery).
