I’ll start. I side eye anyone who says they like “any style of music except rap/hip hop.” You don’t have to like everything, but if you claim you like EVERYTHING but those styles, you’re a little racist.
@janice9821 Pineapple on pizza is an abomination! I teach Family and Consumer Science and tease all my kiddos who ruin their pizzas with pineapple (lovingly, of course).
@janice9821 I happen to LOVE pineapple pizza! DH thinks I'm a freak.
My UO, I'm not a Harry Potter fan. DH is, his family, my brother and SIL... everyone. I'm not against it, but I just haven't been into it. DH dragged me to several of the movies, but I fell asleep in the theater. I'm open to getting into it with my son in the future, but I feel like I need that extra motivation to be into it.
@MrsVP614 The HP franchise is fascinatinggggggg— I hope you dig into when you try! The books are really good— they grow with the reader, which I find super interesting. Like the first two are kids books— but then they grow up.
I think the moon had a direct impact on our bodies and moods, and it’s something that can be different person to person and that’s the only reason reason it’s considered pseudo-science. 🌑🌘🌗🌖🌕 (I trust science in pretty every other avenue though— Climate Change is real, y’all.)
@stassischroeder RIGHT. and it moves the oceans! how could it not affect us! but i feel like when i say something like that ppl think i’m a hippie witch.
@kagesstarshroom My DH is a PA in the ED --so many acronyms in that sentence intro-- and I work in kid's ministry. The moon thing is real. I don't believe in astrology at all (maybe that's a FFFC?) but I definitely think the moon phases effect us.
@MrsVP614 I also never got into HP and have said that maybe I will once DS is old enough to love it with me.
Agree that the moon has strange effects on people.
I like HP but I've never read the books and I've only seen the movies once. I feel like it's something I could be really into if I were to read it or give it another watch.
And avocados are delicious, especially when you turn them into homemade guacamole. 🤤
Oh man. I started HP in 5th grade when it first came out and I still love them. I got to read the new book every year and I totally grew with the characters and it was amazing. H isn’t into it at all, but we went to Universal last year at Christmas and he begrudgingly followed me around the Wizarding World of Harry Potter while I totally geeked out! It was a super cool place though. He really enjoyed it.
I cant think of an UO. I had one earlier in the week but I’ve already forgotten it because pregnancy brain. 🤷🏼♀️
@silverhope SAME! I had it for a few months but I quit it when some former students (graduates...but still) started sending me snaps. It felt too weird. Well...I thought I canceled my account, but recently my friend was like “What? I send you snaps all the time!” 😂
I think it’s weird and unnecessary. I do have a little bit of FOMO when people are are talking about snaps they send/receive though.
@silverhope Agreed! Don’t care for Snapchat. Only have it because my nieces like to send me silly photos but I don’t use it personally.
@janice9821 I love pineapple but have never had it on pizza! I might have to give it a try. DH says he likes it.
@lusineg Avocados are amazing!! I can eat them with everything lol
@MrsVP614 Obsessed with all things Harry Potter one of my first real book reports as a kid was on the first book. The books are definitely better than the movies but I love them regardless. I am actually going to see Harry Potter and the cursed child on Broadway next Sunday.
@miss.sally We went to the Wizarding World at universal last year and it is so awesome. DH isn’t into the books but I’ve made him see all the movies and now he’s a fan. We even got wands at Ollivanders lol *totally geeked out*
@MrsVP614 I feel the same way about HP. My ex husband and mom geeked out about it together which kind of turned me off to the whole thing. I'm also open to the idea of getting into with with kid(s) but am not going to do it on my own.
@silverhope Snapchat makes me feel like an uncool old lady. I don't really get it.
