ID Question

I use my passport as my photo ID because I don't have a driver's license. My current passport has my maiden name, and I am just wondering if I need to have it changed before I go in for delivery. I know they didn't care at my OB office, but I don't know if the main hospital would be different? I am just worried that I wouldn't have it back in time (processing is 6-8 weeks and I am 28 weeks along). I do have my Social Security card updated.

Also, they usually say 6-8 weeks but it's almost always faster than that.

You can likely have your marriage certificate and ss card in conjunction with the old passport. Your name has been officially changed to whatever is on your SS card.  Most states also have ID cards available for those without a driver's license.
