  • @tyrion_ I agree with previous posters - and I would add that anyone who is interested in making their family bigger is welcome here. We all have that in common and have support to share along the way!

@kpearse99 congrats on the SA results!! That's great. Unfortunately, I'm with you there (facing IF even though both me and MH "look" fine). There doesn't always have to be a reason. That's both good and bad - right now I feel like I'm not broken, but also not fixable. If that makes sense. Hope letrozole will do it for you.
  • @tyrion_ I don’t have off work Friday so I don’t have a long weekend 😩 but we’re going to our house that is currently being built to enjoy the land and go to the parade in that town tomorrow! Hoping the rain stays away here!

@jennifer_louise it makes a lot of sense... I can see myself heading down to that feeling too.  It's one of those things you sort of wish there was something wrong so that it could be "fixed" ....Hugs <3

@kpearse99 I’m glad the SA results came back normal! I’m sure it sucks though to not have an answer as to why it hasn’t happened yet. But I’m sure your H is so relieved!
  • @kpearse99 glad to hear the SA results were normal. I hope letrozole works for you!
  • @tyrion_ It’s been nice getting to know you too. We’re having a BBQ tomorrow at our house with DH’s family. Also a play date in the morning to pull out our bounce house. I’m working Friday, because my job doesn’t like holidays and I don’t want to use one of my days.

@tyrion_ we’re going to my SILs for a BBQ tomorrow, then Friday DH has to work but I think DD and I will go to yoga and on a lunch date. Then when he gets home we are heading to my in laws lake house for the nignt/Saturday then Sunday is my grandmas 88th birthday party. So a busy weekend that will hopefully be a good TWW distraction! What are your plans?
  • We are going to my sister’s for a cookout and street fireworks. And Friday we are heading to SW Florida for a little beach vacation. My college best friend is coming down from Chicago so we coordinated vacations. I’m really excited.

@kpearse99 Glad his SA was normal. Keeping everything crossed that letrozole is just the thing for you guys.
  • @kpearse99 I missed your post. Glad the SA was good. Hope you figure out what you need (or the HSG does the trick).

@kpearse99 So happy to hear YH’s SA came back with such good results! Definitely think MH would have had a similar reaction. These men are always so much more insecure than they let on (we’ve been dealing with some non TTC insecurity problems in this house so it’s full center in my mind right now).

I haven’t participated in this thread so far this time around because I echo @tyrion_’s feelings since I’m trying for a 3rd (a little bit of guilt going on thinking I might ruin someone’s day mentioning my 2 LC). But I am reading along <3.

  • @silly_goose i get your feelings but You should not feel guilty that you have children! And just because you have two or one or five doesn’t meant that TTC isn’t a journey or won’t be a struggle, you have every right to be here too. ♥️♥️

  • @tyrion_ I'm glad you're here!  Please dont feel like you dont belong. ❤

@NYTino24. I can't remember which thread it came from, but I just did my vitamins for the week, and it was no problem to add selenium and b6, since I already had them both in the cabinet.  ;)  thanks for the nudge!
  • What number are you trying for? 3

Month/Cycle? 14... waiting for period so I can restart medication

    WTO/TWW?

    Ages of other child(ren)? 7... 2 1/2

Any thoughts about this cycle? Feeling hopeful but only so I'm not discouraged...

    Any questions? notta

Rant/Rave/Brag: I head back to work tomorrow after a week off, working 7 12hr shifts in this next week and a half and already regretting picking them up, but i have no backbone and can't tell my boss no.. ugh

GTKY: What parenting tech/gadget can you believe our parents/grandparents raised kids without? netflix. its been my saving grace today.. but seriously school workbooks. They are so amazing for giving me some quiet time, yet not filling my kids heads with stupid shit.

@BusinessWife I hope she does well in the big room! My son started walking consistently within a day or two of moving up (early) to the toddler / 12-18 month room! He was so ready and bored in the infant room. He also started napping way more then, so it was overall a good thing!

@AllyBear12 How on Earth can you work that much?! I did 70 hour weeks while working 4 jobs to finish grad school and my clothes practically fell off. Take care of yourself!!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@AllyBear12 That is a lot of hours! Take care of yourself and make sure you get some sleep.

@BusinessWife That sucks about the AC. Glad you got a new one, though.

@AllyBear12 Have you ever done that many days in a row before? That sounds nuts. This is why nurses are rockstars
  • Unfortunately I have. My kids are away with my parents this weekend as my husband when to a fly in fishing camp, so thankfully I’ll sleep lots this week. I just hate the 12hrs as I feel I don’t see the kids, but unfortunately that’s nursing. Wouldn’t do it if I didn’t love my job.

@AllyBear12 well at least you will get kid-fee sleep I guess. Not that it really makes it any better. I have a lot of respect for you though! Do you work in a hospital?
  • Thanks @mercury94. yes, I'm so grateful he could just run out and get it (ahem, the business) but it's annoying bc other things we need to pay/ for, but we have to wait to filter it through.  Ughh.  Weve just got to bite the bullet and start running payroll again (for ourselves) bc the truly personal needs are starting to pile up and I think it's stressing us both out.  It's not easy, and definitely something we wrestle with, if it may be worth it for him to somehow switch things up and be the one to carry our insurance.  But I mean that would mean some pretty major changes, so nobody's in arush for all that.

@NYTino24. Thanks for the reassurance!  She is doing well, is ready etc.  I guess i feel bad to say, but i just love her teachers in her current room so much, I cant help but have my doubts a bit about the whole staffing situation in the next room, by comparison.  Her little baby teacher will be back in the big baby room when she comes back from mat leave tho, so I will be selfishly looking forward to that!  :D

@AllyBear12. I have trouble keeping up as it is with my work schedule, but that sounds almost impossible!  You really must be some kind of superhero
