my inlaws refuse to acknowledge the pregnancy

So, my inlaws refuse to even reach out and say congratulations. He sees nothing wrong with it and defends them. He even talks about me to them and tells them what Im saying. I only know this bc the shit hit the fan this weekend and one of his sisters and i got into it and she told me. I am over all of them, including him.

Do you have a question? Sounds like you didn’t pick a great partner with whom to parent.

Do you have a good relationship with your in-laws?  If you didn’t have a good relationship before, I wouldn’t expect pregnancy to change that.  If this is out of character for them, then it would be worth reaching out to them and explains if why you are upset.

I’m so confused. Were you not present when your husband told his family? Have you spoken to them at all about the pregnancy? If I had the kind of relationship with my in laws in which I wasn’t even there when big news such as this was shared I wouldn’t expect them to call. But maybe that’s just me. I would stop talking about your in-laws to your husband as he clearly isn’t on your side in this. I hope things get better for you soon ❤️
