I so did not do well this week. An increase in nausea and exhaustion hit this week. DH had to after hour work twice this week. So when I did feel up to going to the gym I had to stay home with DS instead.
I haven't been doing well doing well with fruits and veggies either. So I need to work on that as well as working out more.
I’ve yet to make it out for even one walk and next week it’s forecasted to storm literally every day, so... I’m still doing yoga. I chose a sequence this morning without remembering having done it before and it turned out to be a repetitive vinyasa so I inadvertently got a bit of a workout in. 🙃
If laying on the couch met my fitness goal I would have done great this week...but realistically nope. I could not function this week. I went for a two mile walk on Monday and that’s about it
I did nothing again this week. I’m lucky I did the dishes and cooked dinner a couple of nights. I basically just want to sleep. Veggies and fruit are making me gag and I’m basically eating fast food and bagels to sustain me.
I managed to go for two super long walks early in the week when I felt decent, but that didn’t last apparently. I keep telling myself I’m going to get up early to stretch and do some yoga at least, because I am so stiff from not moving around much, but I just can’t seem to drag my butt out of bed til the very last second, even though I’m going to bed an hour or two earlier than usual *and* napping every single day. I feel like a blob.
I skipped today's workout and pressed snooze twice. I regret it because I'm more tired during the day if I don't a workout in when I wake up. It also helps with the constipation lol.
The rest of the week was pretty good though- 2 spin classes, a full body circuit, and a long walk. I'll get some good movement in tomorrow because we have to clear our living room and dining room to prepare for knocking a wall down. WOOHOO!
Another backslide here. I've been feeling sicker than last week and my husband has had to work late a lot so more to do on the home front. I have been eating a bit healthier (including veggies!) and am happy about that. I've exercised a little bit. I think one short run, one dog walk, and that's probably it. I'd like to do a strength workout tonight.
I went for a mile walk every day this week. But I have to constantly stuff food in my mouth to not get sick, so I've ended up gaining a little weight. I'm just looking forward to the end of 1st tri when I start feeling better and can workout more and eat better.
I got my yoga class and workout in, and ate better with veggies. Lost the lbs I'd gained by poor eating the week before. Trying to get some bike riding in as a family now too.
Working out was a lost cause this week due to how terrible I’ve felt. Appetite was nonexistent and had *TMI* pretty terrible diarrhea that has left me miserable and dehydrated. I checked weight mid-week and had lost 4 lbs. I finally started feeling slightly human by Friday, so I had a short walk, and then today I did get to the gym for CrossFit. I had to modify a lot, though, because I kept getting lightheaded and really easily out of breath. I’ll take it, though.
My goal is working out 5 days a week, this week I didn't meet that but I did 3 days, today and yesterday I just couldn't talk myself into it. Planning on going to classes tomorrow, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and I'll get a walk in at least one other day.
I am just catching up. I was on vacation all week last week. My hubs didn't get to go because of work and I was with my mom and brother (and my 3 girls). I ran 3 miles one day and that was it. I'm usually pretty good on vacation, but I used up all the excuses I could to not do anything. I felt awful for it too. I will get back into it tomorrow morning with my workout buddies for sure! I'm also going to try to get some miles in this week too. *fingers crossed* It's supposed to rain ALL WEEK LONG!
Anyone else just insanely winded when you try to be active? The last few times I’ve gone for a walk I am huffing and puffing like I just ran a marathon...from walking. I usually like to put my 3 year old in the stroller and go for super long walks but I’m finding myself letting her walk more often because her must-stop-and-inspect-every-flower-we-walk-by pace is much more my jam right now.
We just got off a cruise and walked between 4-8 miles a day 😳 (other than 2 days I was puking). I cannot wait to be back in the gym this week tho. I’ve missed it.
@mrsbuddd YES! I love taking my 1.5 year old for walks in the stroller when it's nice out. We went for a walk yesterday and not long into the walk I felt like I needed to sit down. It was so exhausting! Its driving me crazy because going for walks is one of my favorite things to do.
I’m hoping to be more active this pregnancy than in previous ones. But I’ve went for one walk so far 🤦♀️ does chasing my other babies around count as exercise? If so I’m crushing it.
