Well I got my first pictures of the babies playing in the dirt/sand at
daycare, they are filthy babies and will be getting a thorough bath
tonight! It looks like baby girl bathed it in from the pics. Little dude
only has a few suspicious smears around his mouth...
@mtpbadger I'm in a similar boat with my MIL and our daughter. Her name is Victoria which if SHE chooses could be several options for a shorter/nickname. My MIL, who I mostly love, keeps calling her Vic which drives me to distraction. I haven't said much to her at this point but now that the twins are to the point that they are learning their own names I'm thinking I'll have DH talk to her.
I think maybe a probably awkward private chat will be needed. I'm guessing but I'm assuming that she loves Abigail and isn't a horrible person? Specifically mentioning that your husband has already asked about this and that this really bothers "her son" might get through to her. I've had some luck modifying behaviors by appealing to my MIL as a mother rather than the twins Maman.
@mtpbadger Ugh so hard about your MIL! Abigail is such a pretty girlie name why can’t she just get on board!! And thanks again for the suggestions on insta snackswjax is great! My girl still tosses her plates and bowls so seriously need to work on that!
