I went to DH's work picnic on Saturday and it was kind of fun but the food was awful lol. Like legit the food was just not where it needed to be temperature-wise. I did end up eating it because I was starving and was sitting at the table with the ladies who made the food. Bleh!

My ex-husband is pissing me off, food tastes like metal, I've cried a good portion of the morning and my boyfriend is questioning why I let things get to me. REALLY???? I have a 7 year old that needs care, a codependent ex husband, a full time job as an ADON and stack all of that on the hormones that are raging. It's about to rain and I feel bad for whoever has to deal with me. I'm trying, for real, but ever since I found out about this new little one, it's like everyone has taken their disregard of me a touch further. Thanks for this outlet @brookert615

Thanks, girls. I'm about to eat some food and I booked an independent ultrasound for Saturday, so I'm in a bit of a better mood now. I hope everything calms down for you girls too!

I have ants in my kitchen, and it makes me want to puke!! Need to go buy some ant traps I guess. This is my 7th summer owning this house, and this is the first time I’ve had ants. Blech!!!

@daffodil_shoe Ugh we just found some in our bathroom!!! They are the worst. My daughter thinks it is fun to kill them when she sees them and it is driving me nuts since I have read if you kill them, it attracts more.

I’ll take ants over mice 🙃 we’ve got MICE in our basement. I think the problem is under control but you can truly never be too sure. Nasty little pests.

@twinsandcoffee oh yuck!! I used to have 2 albino rats, but they were bred in captivity for my experimental psych class, so they were clean. Dirty, wild mice? Yuck! I'll take my ants!

Okay it's a minor bitch, but all I've got- THE SMELLS. Inside, especially inside the office, there are so many smells that I can't control and they're all mixed together. Like aftershave + lean cuisine + cleaning products + faculty pizza order + body spray... I thought maybe I was imagining being extra nauseated at work, but now I feel certain it's because there are too many smells here.

@craftywitch No!!! My office is the same way. I had to bring in a diffuser because it was brutal. STAY STRONG!

@craftywitch @brookert615  the sensitivity to smell is the biggest symptom for me! My MBF is dedicated to the man with bad breath that I had to sit next to on a 5.5 hour flight today. It’s like I could smell everything he’s eaten over the past 3 weeks!!

My one coworker really pissed me off. We all have to agree on our supply list and I asked for crayons to be added since kids purposely and accidentally break colored pencils. It was made into a big deal like, “Well we don’t ALL agree. We can put on there ‘colored pencils for everyone except Mrs. NYTino’s class!’ if that’s what you want.” How petty and passive aggressive. It’s a basic school supply, Karen. She’s always being that way towards me and I’m never been anything but civil and friendly. I avoid conflict and ignore the vibes she puts out towards me, but I’ve had enough.

I am one of four coworkers on the same level and the other three are all taking overlapping vacations in the next three weeks. I can't believe my boss approved this. Like, hello, I cannot do four people's jobs by myself!!! Today he was like, "Ok, I can tell you're panicking..." You're g****** right I'm panicking! Why is no one else panicking?!?!?!?

@NYTino24 That was really passive aggressive of her. It sounds like you presented a reasonable point for why crayons were better. If she wanted colored pencils so badly, she could have presented her reasoning and then you all could have had a logical discussion instead of her being petty.
