Upcoming Appt: Had one Tuesday. Next one June 14th for anatomy scan!
How are you feeling: Well doc had put me on modified bed rest last week for cervical issues. Went back Tuesday and things looked much better...but that means the rest is working and he wants me to stay on it. Not sure if it’s indefinitely but I can def no longer commute back and forth to work. I live in NJ and work in NYC. I have a pretty stressful job with ~52 ppl on my team...and I also can’t do this remote for an extended period of time. So now I will work remotely until 6/28 to transition, and then either go on disability...or my boss and I will find a project I can do remotely.
Rants/Raves: Happy to get a break from my stressful job and focus on my health...but it’s really really hard to miss everything this summer being stuck at home...
GTKY; recently I’ve been obsessed with the speculoos ice cream at Trader Joe’s.
Btw I love all the HP love too! Maybe I will reread all the books and watch the movies if I end up on disability!
Upcoming Appointments: Had one today to find out gender and will have 20w dr appt 06/27 and anatomy US 07/02
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Nausea is mostly better but still hits occasionally
Rants/Raves: I went to visit some friends for a few days (rave) but figured out my pregnant body can't handle a 6+ hour drive by myself (rant)
Questions: anyone else dealing with a hernia? mine is near my belly button and dr said probably happened during my last pregnancy and I just didn't know
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert? Strawberry cake cookies
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I’m feeling a little less nauseous now. My appetite is slowly coming back. My energy level is so much better.
Rants/Raves: I wish could get rid of the cold symptoms. I also wish this round ligament pain would go away.

Upcoming Appointments: 6/7 I have some more bloodwork and a check in with my doctor.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): I feel pretty good! My little belly is showing and I feel so cute
Rants/Raves: Our friends hosted a gender reveal party for us yesterday and it was so much fun! No one knew the gender (not even us) until I gave the hostess the gender card from my doctor and she chose the correct golf ball filled with blue powder for my husband to hit. It exploded in a big puff of blue and it was so exciting. It was so much fun to share with our family and friends!
Questions: when did you start to register for things for your shower? Now that we know the gender, I'm really excited to get going! We are moving in July because our offer on a new house was accepted, so I can't placate my nesting urges by buying cute tiny things just yet lol
GTKY: What is your favorite dessert? Hmm... I do love some Culver's rocky road ice cream as a very special treat!
