@nnaelilak I love it except the checkout, I hate that they toss everything in so quick! I went by myself last time and my cherry tomato container got busted open 😭 I got socks and the gloves and they help alot!! Next step for me is a chiropractor cause I haven't made it yet!
@steminist long term sub planning sounds miserable. @melanier26 your childhood story gave me a nostalgic visual. @greenbean-2 we’re AS buddies! @galentine Not a limb, but since about 10 weeks I’ve been dealing with my hip going numb. Not just when laying on it either. Hey if we have to go through pregnancy we might as well milk it as much as we can IMO @Cass005 The squeaky wheel gets the grease, call them.
Upcoming Appointments: some time in June! Just did my MW and AS last week
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): really great pregnancy-wise. Allergies are KILLING are.
Rants/Raves: I’m feeling rant-y today. I’m paranoid about movement because of my dumb anterior placenta. It feels so different than DD1 and DD2 and I know it’s going to stress me out in the later months. I felt the girls so early and I am so ready for them and DH to feel baby brother kick!
Questions: none
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity from childhood?
Camping with my dad! He passed away when I was little, but it was something we always did, just the two of us since my parents got divorced when I was 2. I treasure the memories so much!
Accidentally hit enter @cheznet I’m sorry you’re still getting sick, I was nauseated into my third tri with DS but never actually puked. @sweetteaandswingsmama THOSE LOOK AMAZING!! @andromedacorrine2 We were at Aldi yesterday and my 4yo was amazed at how fast the checker was.
EDD / Weeks + Days: I’ll be 20 weeks tomorrow
Baby is the size of a(n): Mango today, Stapler/banana tomorrow
FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM+
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Hopefully finds out tomorrow
Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy scan tomorrow
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Anxious, about nothing in particular. Just feeling overwhelmed with life in general. Feel baby kicks, which I’m the odd one out in that I don’t enjoy it. Especially when I get a bladder kick and it sends a sharp sting. But, it is good reassurance.
Rants/Raves: DS is being really miserable to deal with right now. He’s defiant about everything he possibly can, even something fun. I don’t want to take him anywhere because it’s just a fight. It’s making enjoying play time super difficult.
Questions:Nope
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity from childhood? I was a fish. Every afternoon mom dropped me off at the pool and would pick me up after work. If something came up she could easily come get me, she worked close. She always gave me money for a snack and drink, usually a pizza and slush. I miss those days.
@emily1052 no not honey, although I do like that too. These specific fries are best, in my “I’ve eaten more of these buckets (yes they come in buckets) of fries in my life than I will ever admit” opinion coated in vinegar and salt and enjoyed with ketchup and mayonnaise.
I'm going to the chiro and acupuncturist in Friday! I'm so excited, I haven't been in months because of the move and how inconvenient my current office is and not wanting to find a new one... I love them too much! Lol
@cmbt2 I'll have to try a brace and see if that helps!
Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy scan today and a follow-up in 2 weeks (see AS thread for details)
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Overall pretty good. Still have some days where I feel a bit yucky (wouldn't quite call it nauseous, more like minor upset stomach and tiredness), but mostly good.
Rants/Raves: Rant: dealing with a total douchenozzle at work, but it's a minor annoyance now that I have some added worry from the AS scan today. Trying to stay positive, but this pregnancy has definitely been more stressful. Rave: We got to see baby today and confirmed he is indeed a boy! It was sweet to see him squirming around and everything.
Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity from childhood? playing outside all day every day with the neighbor kids. When I was around 10, I started going to an outdoor arts camp every summer where we would put on plays, do pottery, learn how to play instruments, etc. My happiest summers were spent there and I even continued to spend a several weeks every summer teaching pottery there until I was in my mid-20s.
21+6, 10/3 (but tentatively scheduled repeat csection for 9/27!!)
Baby is the size of a(n): Endive I think this week?
FTM/STM/TTM+:
STM (DD 2.5)
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Blue! 💙
Upcoming Appointments: just had my AS on Friday, where I found out I have placenta previa, and it’s actually covering my cervix. So I’m on pelvic rest and exercise modification until it hopefully moves up. I have another US in a little over 3 weeks to check the progress.
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Pretty good, but I get very very crampy if I do too much— not sure if this is the PP or not?
Rants/Raves: Rant: I came back to work yesterday after being away for vacation and the first thing one of my coworkers said was “wow look how much you’ve grown!!” It took all my strength to not say “oh yeah, you too!”
Questions: none right now!
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity from childhood? hmmm probably camping in the White Mountains (New Hampshire). We never had a ton of money for big vacations but went camping there every summer and playing in the waterfalls are some of my favorite early childhood memories!
Baby is the size of a(n): "fat stack of cash" thanks to "Manly" babysizer
FTM/STM/TTM+: x2
Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: Pink
Upcoming Appointments: 6/18
How are you feeling (Cravings/Symptoms): Pretty good lately. Still some indigestion, and I started getting this weird pain in my upper abdomen right under my boob. I got it last pregnancy too and they never could tell me what it was. Maybe just a growing pain due to a short abdomen? 🤷♀️
Rants/Raves: Rant - it's raining. Again. Rave - I think I'm getting some energy back and the desire to eat good things again. For probably the first time in many many weeks I actually used and didn't have to throw out the lettuce I bought saying I was definitely going to make salads to bring to work this week. (I'm just gonna throw that in here as my confession too: I've thrown out 8 heads of Romaine in a row due to healthy pregnant ambition.)
Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity from childhood? Like many others it would be being outside playing all the time, and riding my bike. Seeing how many of us remember those times so fondly, I'm already sad for my kids wondering if they'll possibly ever enjoy it as much, seeing how technology has really replaced and/or become such a larger role in youth activities anymore.
Me: 41 / Fiance: 35 + One DS, one dog & two kitties...
First BFP: 1/17/16 = EDD 9/21/16 (MMC)
Second BFP: 6/24/16 (CP)
Third BFP: 2/7/17 = EDD 10/20/17 🌈 *** BORN 10/23 *** 🌈
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): Sour gummy worms get me every time I'm at a check out. I'm getting all the pelvic pain and some mild sciatica. I have a chiro appointment tomorrow though. Also I get allergic to my rabbit when I'm pregnant, which usually means sneezing and runny face when I hold him, but Monday he needed some grooming and I broke out in hives and had an asthma attack. He's so cuddly though
Rants/Raves: Like @PenelopeSnuz77 I'm not feeling the kicks like I did with the last two. The logical part of my brain knows it's likely placenta placement. But it does make me a little anxious. Although I know the kicks are only enjoyable for so long so I'm also trying to soak this up while it lasts
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity from childhood? Camping and playing in the creek and loading up my pockets with wild animals.
@melanier26 I sure wanted to be. I'm sure my captives didn't see me in the same light though Mostly reptiles and amphibians, and the ocassional injured bird or abandoned baby squirrel.
@ineedsixeggs baby squirrels in your pockets? Omg I’m dying at this visual and also dying at the thought of my reaction if DD ever came home with baby squirrels in her pockets 😂
@SLou24 My parents were so cool about it. My dad would help me research and nurse them back to health, or throw funerals for the ones that didn't make it. My mom was like "Just don't set it loose in the house. And wash your hands before dinner."
On the reverse, my own daughter is terrified of nature and I'm out of my element there. I'm like "Hey kids, check out this baby turtle!" And she's like:
How are you feeling? (Cravings/Symptoms): cheeseburgers! All the time. Just like my first 2. I could eat them every day
Rants/Raves: my allergies have been insane this season. I’d think it was my pregnancy but my girls and my husband are having the same issue
Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite summer activity from childhood? Swimming for hours on end and then getting subway after. I can’t go swimming now without craving subway...it’s like a water logged subliminal message now ℓσℓ
@ineedsixeggs we have an in door bunny too and I wonder if that’s part of my allergies as well!
@cooaladolly I get that pain too. It makes it impossible to slouch ℓσℓ and I have to take my bra off as soon as possible 😂

@ineedsixeggs SO and his older sister have collected insects/ small critters since they could, we literally call Grandma and Grandpa's the zoo because my older SIL rescues animals. When they lived on the farm, they had cats and a turkey, a crow, a goose, lot of dogs, she takes in birds(she has 8 right now, including one as tall as DD), rats, hamsters, ferrets. Everything you can think of. I like furry or feathery animals, not creepy crawlies. SO and her had tarantulas, snakes, and scorpions and she got DS a tarantula for his bday. It stays at their house I won't have that 😂😂 SO also enjoys pinning bugs as a hobby, so he's always catching bugs in jars and freezing them. I never know what I'll find in my freezer 😂 DS hates things that crawl fly or run. He doesn't really like dogs, cats are okay, he only likes the birds if they're in the cages, he liked the rabbits when she had them, and fish. Anything else better not come near him. My oldest niece is the opposite, she wants the snakes and the tarantulas. Which irriates youngest SIL cause she doesn't like them either 😂
@ineedsixeggs not that SIL. The oldest and the youngest are usually the 2 that irritate me 😂 this is the middle, she is the only one with no kids, just fur/animal babies lol she keeps getting more birds too! I want a bird because I love hers but SO is hesitant to have one of our own. So we're waiting til the kiddos get older. But both kids are allergic to most fur animals, so no dogs, cats or rabbits for us anymore. We learned that the rough way.
