I had my anatomy scan this week. Baby girl is doing great. She's perfect and healthy. 🥰❤

Cravings/Symptoms?
Feeling lots of movement now!! ❤❤❤

Rants/Raves/Randoms?
Rant - I am STILL catching up on sleep after my long weekend/girls trip last week. I'm exhausted and can barely keep my eyes open at work.
Rave - I think my H felt baby girl move for the first time this week. The look on his face was absolutely priceless.

Questions?
What does everyone have set up for the baby so far? We have a car seat, stroller, high chair, crib, and glider. Everything is in boxes still. But my H is out of town for a week and wants to start setting up the nursery when he returns. 🙊

GTKY: what are your plans for the 3 day weekend?
My H is out of town, so I have plans to hang out with friends and my family. But it's supposed to rain/storm all weekend, so i anticipate lots of lazy time reading on the couch, watching Netflix, and snuggling my pup.

@galentine That sounds like a great weekend either way. But hopefully the weather holds out because outdoors relaxing is so much better! We have everything ready but nothing set up. If we get closer to EDD and are still in the house we will start getting the essentials out. I'm dreading that.....

Anyone have an appointment this week? Nope, June 4

Cravings/Symptoms? Had some BH this morning. So annoying. I'll try to drink more water, I've been bad about that the past 2 days. Baby has also been very active. Its helping to put my mind at ease. DH is disappointed that he can't feel it yet.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? Truck problems. Got new tires put on yesterday in hopes it was the cause of an odd noise. Drove DH back to work this morning (the route for their trip went right through town so it seemed sill for him to be away the extra hour) and it's still doing it. I'm so thankful to work at a dealership. Gave the guys my keys this morning and hopefully it will be fixed by the end of the day.

Random- I dreamt last night that I did have a pet sugar glider but he unfortunately loved DS much more then me. He was always just chilling around him and scratching me anytime I tried to hold him 🙄

GTKY: what are your plans for the 3 day weekend? Probably just hanging out with the fam. My parents usually go camping but that seems to have become a popular past time and all the usual places were booked even though they called early.

What's going on this week? Baby is the size of a bottle of Sriracha, which is funny because I cannot eat anything spicy.

How far along are you? 21 weeks, 2 days.

Anyone have an appointment this week? Nope, not until June.

Cravings/Symptoms? I am still craving sweets and carbs, which is frustrating. I have to battle my cravings all day long and often end up losing. My tailbone and lower back are falling apart.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? I get that it's the end of the year, but I am so over my students cancelling on me last-minute. I've had five cancellations this week and some of them have been within 15 minutes of our appointment time.

Questions? To answer @galentine 's question: Nothing. We have nothing. I started a registry, but have put nothing on it. I think because we still don't know if we are moving to China, I'm opting for a "less is more" approach. I don't have a nursery for our little peanut in this apartment, so I'm feeling sad about that. 

GTKY: what are your plans for the 3 day weekend? I'll be working, but on Saturday my husband and I will drive a couple of hours to meet my cousin's new baby. I'm so excited!

@galentine Glad you had a great girls weekend. To also answer your question, we have nothing truly set up yet for LO. DS still uses the crib (because we need to do some rearranging to get him his big boy bed in the room), and we never took down the glider so I guess we go two things sort of done! After all of the craziness from my sister's wedding and we get DS' room a little more organized, we can start pulling out what baby stuff we have to start figuring out what we do need. 

@prpl11butterfly That is quite convenient to be able to do that for your truck! Also, I need to google it... what is a sugar glider???

@elle-0409 I feel ya on the cravings and back/tailbone pain.  I'm right there with you. And that super sucks about your cancellations. Do you still charge if they cancel that late, since there's no way you can re-book that spot with no notice?

Rants/Raves/Randoms?  My twin sister's bridal shower is this weekend, so I'm only working 1/2 day tomorrow so I can go grocery shopping and start setting up. I'm so relieved for this to be over, I've basically had no help from any of the other bridesmaid (they were willing to contribute financially but not their time/effort). But I really want a massage and MIL got me a gift card to Burke Williams for Xmas so I'm tentatively planning on getting one this weekend. 

Questions? This was definitely brought up in maybe the Questions thread but what cushion do you use at work for your tush (for comfort/pain)?

GTKY: what are your plans for the 3 day weekend? See above (bridal shower, possible massage)... also, sleep in on Sunday and Monday, probably have dinner with BIL on Saturday and ILs on Sunday.

What's going on this week? This week baby has been a hot dog, a peanut butter jar and today his foot is the size of the tab on a soda can. (These food analogies have been fun for DS1)

Cravings/Symptoms? SYMPTOMS: Heartburn, slow leg hair growth @prpl11butterfly!!! CRAVINGS: Cucumbers, strawberries, cereal, and a new aversion to chicken this week.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? RAVES: My win from yesterday on DS's birthday bed is still a high for me. Also, off tomorrow for extra long Memorial Day weekend.

Questions? To comment on @galentine 's progress: I am so impressed with all the stuff you already have. With DS1 we did almost everything in the last two months. With DS2 we didn't know if he was a boy or girl so I literally did NOTHING except prepare a gender neutral going home outfit (also I had all the big ticket items, but still).   

GTKY: what are your plans for the 3 day weekend? Heading to the beach this weekend (the Delaware beaches are only about 2.5 hours from DC). My ILs have a house there and the whole family is going. It's typically a big reunion style weekend, lots of cousins, etc., so it's pretty fun. Mostly excited to be off work tomorrow.

Have to run to a meeting... will tag later.

@prpl11butterfly Didn't someone on here say they use an app to help them know how much water to drink?? I've been curious about that ever since I read it, and your hydration issues just reminded me.

@stephanie123456 Bridal/baby showers are so fun to THINK about planning, but they really are so much work. You will deserve that massage afterward! That said, enjoy. I bet your sister is excited.

@elle-0409 Just think about how close you are to your summer break!

@galentine Yesterday afternoon I could barely keep my eyes open at work (thank you DS1 & 2 for waking up at 4:30am and not going back to sleep). BUT since I'd already had a coffee that morning I just couldn't have another one! I left early. lol

@elle-0409 the potential move definitely makes prepared hard. When will you guys know for sure? I would have to get an exotic pet license and then God only know how much the fuzz ball would cost. But a girl can dream right 🥰

@stephanie123456 they are basicall Australias version of flying squirrels. So.so.cute! I hope to make the massage happen! I did mine a few weeks ago and it was heavily.

@junebabyh that is me 🙈 Turns out if you don't use it, it stops notifying you. I was doing soooo well I stopped inputting the data. After a few days it stopped reminding and then I fell off the wagon. Enjoy your beach weekend! I'm super jealous!

@galentine I set up the crib, changing table and glider. But honestly I probably wouldn't have anything done if we didn't move lol We had just thrown all of DS's old stuff in the nursery and I was tired of it, so last weekend I built and organized it

@prpl11butterfly I always loved the idea of having a sugar glider! They're so cute 😍

@elle-0409 my tail bone hurts soooo bad. I almost cried getting out of the car yesterday... It gets so stiff and hurts so bad after driving or sitting for long periods 😭

What's going on this week? Baby is the size of a Gameboy and is developing vernix

Anyone have an appointment this week? Last Tuesday! Found out this little guy is growing perfect 💙

Cravings/Symptoms? Tailbone pain is OOC, driving even 30 minutes causes me to want to cry... And I usually drive around 2 hours a day if we leave the house... Craving all the carbs still, some protein, no veggies 😬

Rants/Raves/Randoms? I went to barrè for the first time in a month and it felt so good! It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be either! 

GTKY: what are your plans for the 3 day weekend? It's my husband's first weekend off in a while, so I'm looking forward to relaxing! We may head to his dad's on Friday and his best friend is coming up on Sunday.

@elle-0409, oh no! I'm so sorry your tailbone and back are bothering you. Did you end up trying a donut pillow? Mine is extra sore today, despite the donut pillow. I plan to go home and lie in my hammock for awhile, to hopefully take the pressure off from sitting all day.

@stephanie123456, I just searched "donut pillow for tailbone pain" on Amazon and picked from the plentiful options there. I got one for work that is a donut shape, but the pillowcase/cover goes over the hole, so it's slightly less obvious. I'm sorry you are dealing with this too! It's so miserable some days 😥 also YAY for the bridal shower this weekend and almost being over. I hope you have a great time and can relax when it's finally over!

What's going on this week? If this baby is a girl she is finishing developing her uterus and forming her eggs. Also developing vernix and leg cartilage is turning to bone.

How far along are you? 19+1

Anyone have an appointment this week? Nothing until next Wednesday

Cravings/Symptoms? as with @elle-0409, and a bunch of you, i'm having the tailbone trouble. Mainly just if I am sitting up straight or mostly straight for a long period. Also my constipation gets worse the further I go in pregnancy, so yeah. 

Rants/Raves/Randoms? I'm so tired, Tuesday I stayed up late playing a game and lost track of time. Last night's tornado weather had me up until 10 with sirens and lightening strikes. Afterwards I was so tense I couldn't sleep. So I finally got to sleep at 1, 4 year old still up at normal time. DH had a cardiology consult today so that's been added stress as well. I've been so emotional today because of the destruction from weather and everything else. 

Questions? Nope. @galentine to answer nothing. The nursery is still a storage room ATM. The crib never left there so it's there, as is the dresser/changing table. I really don't have to buy much though besides a car seat, stroller, breast pump and bottles. I got rid of nothing after DS and I have a friend lending me a swing, RnP and diaper genie 

GTKY: what are your plans for the 3 day weekend? Tomorrow night is caregroup night. Saturday afternoon/night is playdate for kids, followed by game night for parents. Nothing for Sunday, so if weather is good work on garage so we can work on nursery.

My sister has been chatting with me regarding baby shower themes, which is super exciting! @marbellie, I thought of you, because one of the ideas she is tossing around is a sloth theme!!! 💚💚💚

Truck simply needed new back breaks. Nice easy fix thank goodness.

Butt pillow came and it's a dream! I only drove a short distance to the store, but I could instantly feel the difference definitely worth it!!!
