What number are you trying for? Month/Cycle? WTO/TWW? Ages of other child(ren)? Any thoughts about this cycle? Any questions? Rant/Rave/Brag: GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?)
Any thoughts about this cycle? First time I've ovulated on my own since before DS.. Didn't O til CD33
Any questions? I'm having such trouble temping on time. My anxiety is waking me up well before my alarm, but my temps even 2-3 hours early are where they were at my normal time before suspected O. I'm guessing this means they would be higher at the right time, right? Getting a progesterone test to confirm O because the anxiety/struggle is real.
Rant/Rave/Brag: I got a blazing OPK the day after my RE followup. It would be wonderful to avoid needing them!
GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?) I can't think of anything specific. Though I cried when I sold my last car (obviously had financial value too). It was like it had been through such distinct parts of my life.. meeting my husband, getting married, moving, getting pregnant. We even named it and were both so sad when it was time to get a mom-mobile. Whenever we see one like it we both go "aww"
WTO/TWW? TWW but not really, we didn't successfully DTD this month due to being away from each other while traveling
Ages of other child(ren)? 2
Any thoughts about this cycle? Well. I am on CD 31 and I haven't started my period. My temps keep rising. Maybe my new supplements are working on stretching out my luteal phase? Or maybe the new thyroid drug I started two weeks ago is messing with my cycle? We shall see.
Any questions? No, I am anxiously awaiting my doctor's appt on Wednesday to discuss my bloodwork results. I don't think my dried urine test (checks sex & adrenal hormones) will be ready by the time I go see the doctor on Wednesday, but it would be awesome if we could discuss that too!
Rant/Rave/Brag: My LO suffers from eczema and it has been flaring up SO badly while we are here in Florida. I think maybe it's the daily pool swimming or something in the trees/grass. I decided to take her to see her pediatrician because the itching was getting under control. Started her on Claritin & a steroid cream since Friday. She's already SO much better, I will say even 100%! Also, PRAISE chewable medicines. It is a fight to get my DD to drink liquid medicines and I am so glad Claritin makes a chewy. GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?)--- hmmmmm. I am not sure. I can't think of any one item off the top of my head but I love saving little things (papers/tickets/notes/etc) and making "memory" boxes. I will personally never get around to scrapbooking or something of that nature, so putting it all in a box is a way for me to sift through things later. I don't do it anymore but my two boxes of high school/college memories are really treasured. I hope to go through it was my DD one day!

nolemama24 my DS has eczema also. When we told his pediatrician he was in swimming lessons she mandated that we shower him ASAP and gave us an RX cream to put on his patches. I hope your DD gets better!
@flinstone-2 Yay for O! I don't get to temp at the same time each morning, since I have a different shift on weekends, but I'm usually still able to determine a temp shift.
What number are you trying for? 2 Month/Cycle? 5/5 WTO/TWW? WTO Ages of other child(ren)? 21 months today Any thoughts about this cycle? Optimistic that we'll finally be able to HIO several times through the FW, instead of just once Any questions? Nope! Rant/Rave/Brag: We had a great weekend! We took DS to the zoo with my best friend from college and her DD, and had so much fun! Excited for the weekend, since DH and I both have a three day weekend, which never happens! GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?) This is a tough one, but I would say old photos from my childhood, or little keepsakes from DS's birth. I could probably part with a lot of my stuff, TBH.
Any thoughts about this cycle? Optimistic. Hoping MH can get his boot off in time for my FW!
Any questions? Not really
Rant/Rave/Brag: Had such a great weekend with DS. We went to a hot air balloon festival Saturday and he had so much fun. He was up way past his bedtime, which threw him off a bit the rest of the weekend, but it was worth the fun!
GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?) I can't think of anything too specific, but I do keep some little things like cards or pictures or things DS has made.

@nolemama24 FX the new medications are working! GL at your appt! Also taking note of the eczema treatment. DS has some mild eczema... so far just treating with lotion has been enough, but he does get sooo itchy sometimes.

(What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?) My grandmothers drinking glasses. I just have so many fond memories attached to them and her kitchen growing up. They probably are not worth much outside of that. I hardly let anyone use them lol
@flinstone-2 so happy you finally O'd on your own!!!
@nolemama24 so glad you were able to get some stuff that would work for your DD to bring her some relief!!
@MrsVP614 I love going to the zoo with DS! So glad you had a great weekend!

Any thoughts about this cycle? I was (and still kinda am) feeling positive and confident and even though I got a BFN this morning something in my gut tells me this cycle is different...but who the heck knows, to be honest. AF is due to arrive tomorrow so we will see if she comes. If it doesn't happen this cycle, I'm remaining positive that it will happen soon!
Any questions? Has anyone drank any fertility tea? Did it seem to change your cycles up a bit?
Rant/Rave/Brag: I'm so looking forward to this upcoming weekend! My brother, sis-in law and the kids are coming in from Pittsburgh! I love seeing them and getting to watch the cousins play together, DS loves getting time with them so much! Also, the pool opens this weekend, and I cannot wait!
GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? Any thoughts about this cycle? Cue the BSC. I had a dream last night that I had implantation bleeding so that must mean something right? *Kidding* But, seriously, bring on all the SSing now! Haha. Any thoughts about this cycle? Trying (and mostly failing) not to be overly hopeful. I know we’re just starting. Telling myself it’ll almost be better if I don’t get KU this cycle so I can drink and not be sick at my cousin’s wedding in June. I cannot wait. GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? I am not a sentimental person so I really don't have much. I guess I would say, the letters that DH and I wrote each other, while he was in basic training. We have a hallmark love story. Dated in high school, then broke up for junior & senior year. We saw each other for the first time again with a group on the 4th of July (right after senior year), I was dating someone else. He left for basic the next day and I broke up with my then bf. We wrote letters getting to know each other again and officially started dating when he was done with basic and home for a short while in October. Then engaged in December when he was home on leave and married 5 years later.
@flinstone-2 I temped to avoid since I had my LO 2.5 years ago. My temps were never taken at a consistent time, but I was always still able to see a shift in my overall chart. I never adjusted temps either. So maybe you will still be able to get enough information.
@nolemama24 I hope all the changes are helping! I'm glad your LO is feeling better. We go to swimming lessons once a week and my LOs skin is always so bad the next day.
@kpearse99 FX for you! I've never had a fertility tea. I did do a fenugreek tea to help with low milk supply and it royally messed up my unknown thyroid issues.
@varimama That is an impressive distance for a 2 year old! Who am I kidding, they have ton's of energy. I couldn't imagine doing it myself.
@shamrocandroll Is it strange that I still feel a connection to my brother, even though I've never met him? I have two other brothers, an older and a younger (ugh being the middle only girl sucked growing up!) and while we are really close now.... growing up we weren't. They did their things and I did my own. But I've always felt. down in my heart. that if Jimmy was still alive that he would have been my protector and the person I looked up to. I don't know how else to explain that sense that I have. I'm glad I have his lion as a memory of him.

Rant/Rave/Brag: DD’s last week of 2nd grade! I am surprising her with a special trip to a store she has been waiting to go to (she doesn’t know it opened where we live yet) so she will be SO excited!
GTKY: Whats one thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its lateral value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?)
This is easy! I have a pinky ring that I’ve worn everyday since I was 10. My family went to a flea market and I begged my dad for a ring... but he didn’t want to buy me a ring “that would turn my finger green”. He took me that weekend to a jeweler and let me pick out a simple small custom diamond ring. My mom LOST IT on him because she thought it was a waste of money for something I “would just lose anyway”. My dad told her it was fine and I was worth it even if I lost it. I SWORE to myself after hearing her say that that I wouldn’t lose it. My suddenly dad passed away a couple years later. I’ve worn this ring every.single.day for the past 24 years. So it wasn’t expensive but has a TON of sentimental value to me knowing that my dad adored me and and wanted to give me something nice.
@tensparkles OMG your story is a tearjerker too! You guys are pulling at my heartstrings today! I'm so happy you have such a beautiful memory of him now!

@flinstone-2 yes I bet your temps would be higher later! That’s nice you have the option to get the progesterone test though, especially if it will help the anxiety and let you get some sleep
@nolemama24 I save that kind of stuff too. I did get some of it organized into a scrapbook but at a certain point it just became a box. I love looking through it and I hope DD does someday too. I’m glad the medicine is helping your DD.
@MrsVP614 that’s so great you both have the long weekend off! Do you have anything planned?

@puppylove8910 I hope you enjoyed your beach day! I do the same back and forth that you mentioned.
@varimama I do the same with the consolation prizes. I do think it helps, even though I’d obviously rather be KU
@m6agua you and your DHs story is so sweet. And so cool that you have those letters. What a treasure!
@tensparkles your ring story is amazing. I’m sure your dad would be so happy that you feel that way. I always hope thar if something would happen to me, that DD will know how much I love her.
Any questions? So I mentioned in WTO that I had my annual gynecologist appt today. The NP I saw wants me to get a rubella titer so that I can get an MMR booster if I’m not immune and then I’ll be benched for 3 months? Has this come up with anyone else? I did get the titer with DD and it was fine and the NP even mentioned that. So I guess it could have changed in the past 2 years?
She also gave me a referral to the RE that’s affiliated with my OB practice since I’m over 35 but I’m not sure if it’s time yet?
Rant/Rave/Brag: AF is making me cranky so I have a lot of rants but I’ll skip those and just say that I’m happy that work is finally calming down!
GTKY: *TW* for prior pregnancy - When I was newly pregnant with DD, my mom was helping my grandma organize stuff and my grandma showed her this fabric she had to make a “comfort” (blanket) for my baby. This was a hypothetical baby to her since she didn’t know I was pregnant yet but my mom did and just told me that it was pink and that my grandma must be pretty sure I would have a girl someday. Well it turns out I did have a girl and the fabric was a bunny print which was the theme we had chosen for DD’s room. I had no prior interest in bunnies so it was very coincidental. My grandma and I are really close and I feel like it’s a symbol of our connection and it is just beyond special to me.
Ages of other child(ren)? Almost 18 months Any thoughts about this cycle? Can’t figure out if I ovulated. Temps are much higher than they have been, but not as high as they were been when TTC DS

Rant/Rave/Brag: my bruising has gotten a lot better since stopping the baby aspirin! GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?) Old pics I guess. Somehow my grandparents have pics of my 5x grandparents who were born in the 1850s.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

NYTino24 I used to have a red 4 door jeep wrangler but I got a GMC Acadia... it's the closest thing to a minivan while still being an SUV haha bows22m6agua thank you for the info on temps
Has anyone here ever been put on progesterone support? My last two cycles on femara had short LP (I honestly think some of it was caused by the femara) but I really want an actual chance this cycle. My OB said she would provide me the support if my 7dpo levels were low... but by the time I go in at 7dpo and get results back AF has already come. I have had 2 cycles like this and she still wants to wait!
@MJDsquared I’m sorry to see you back over here and I’m joining you back over here, too.

Rant/Rave/Brag: DH is gone this week for work so DD and I will be home alone today through Friday. I’m planning plenty of snuggles and distractions. On a positive note, we’re building a house and they’re putting the roof on. This is a big step to be able to begin the interior work!
GTKY: What’s a thing you own whose sentimental value is inversely proportionate to its material value? (What’s something worth a lot to you, but wouldn’t be worth much when you detach all the emotional stuff?). My pillow that I’ve had since I was a kid. We call it “blankie pillow” because it’s so floppy and more like a blanket but I legit cuddle it every night.
@bows22 I love stories like that! It's always a reminder that everything happens for a reason and fate really does exist! It was fate you were going to have a girl and your grandmother somehow subconsciously knew that! I haven't heard that, what your OB has told you about the shots, but I go next Wednesday for my annual so now I'm curious if they will say anything to me about it. I also don't know what they will say or recommend about being 35 and trying for a total of 8 months now. I know we aren't doing any extensive measures to get pregnant but I also don't know if MH would do testing or not to see what was going on.
@mokay19 I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Get in all the extra snuggles with DD that you possibly can.

@NYTino24 I’m glad the bruising has gotten better! I wasn’t sure about the TW. It came up in this thread awhile ago and it seemed like some people wanted to see it for pregnancy so I wanted to be safe
@kpearse99 my grandma says there is a line of “daughters having daughters” in our family that goes back as far as she knows about so I guess she just had her mind made up that it would continue. My mom and grandma have the same first initial so the name we chose for DD starts with that letter too. Mine does not so now I feel left out! You will have to let me know if they say anything about the rubella thing at your appt. DH and I also have talked and we aren’t planning to pursue fertility treatments but I think he’s open to getting tested just to see if there is something going on that can be fixed.
@bows22 My doc has never mentioned getting the MMR again or any booster, even throughout both of my pregnancies it wasn't mentioned. Maybe because there are so many outbreaks now? I love your story, it is so sweet.
@NYTino24 That is amazing that they have pictures from that long ago!
@tensparkles Your story is so amazing and special.
@flinstone-2 I've been on progesterone for about a year now. I went to a functional practitioner because I was feeling awful and my PCP wouldn't help. Anyways my 7dpo progesterone and testosterone were low so I was put on both as a bio-identical cream. I stopped the testosterone prior to TTC because I guess it can cause issues with the baby. But I've just continued the progesterone, it's a pretty low dose and I actually am on it my whole cycle (except 2 days before my period), but my dose doubles after ovulation. They've retested it twice since I started and it's gotten much better, but not ideal yet. Getting on the progesterone, thyroid meds, doing pelvic floor PT and working on my overall health/lifestyle has done an amazing job at getting my cycle the most normal it as ever been. I was always normal and didn't think it could get any more normal, but it did. My LP went from 11/12 days to 13 days. I know my experience isn't the typical one with progesterone, but it has made a difference.
@mokay19 I'm sorry for your loss. That is super exciting about your house!
@mokay19 I'm so sorry for your loss. Snuggle DD a bunch this week.
@bows22 I went last month to my doctor for a titer blood test to make sure I'm still immune. Luckily, I am. Is that an option for you? Blood test first to confirm immunity or not? If not, then booster?

@puppylove8910 correct, titer blood test first. I was just surprised that I had to do another one when I got one 2 years ago but someone in WTO (and @m6agua above!) mentioned that they are probably being more cautious with the recent measles outbreak since rubella is a form of measles? So I guess that makes sense. I also didn’t know it was a 3 month wait to TTC if the booster was needed so hopefully I’m still good.

My grandmothers drinking glasses. I just have so many fond memories attached to them and her kitchen growing up. They probably are not worth much outside of that. I hardly let anyone use them lol

Telling myself it’ll almost be better if I don’t get KU this cycle so I can drink and not be sick at my cousin’s wedding in June. (Of course a baby is totally worth not drinking/feeling sick I’m just trying to come up with consolation prizes for myself)

Any thoughts about this cycle? I’m hopeful (although Im trying to be realistic) but I will be seeing my OB next month if necessary to be put back on Metformin.
Any questions? Not that I can think of
Rant/Rave/Brag: DD’s last week of 2nd grade!

@shamrocandroll I hope your DH’s boot comes off soon so that you don’t injure yourself again😂
@madcouplewithabox I’m glad your DD is back to normal. It’s funny how we miss their craziness when they are sick
@kpearse99 oh my gosh your story made me tear up. That’s so special that you have a piece of your brother
@begging4abump great GTKY!
Edit because that all posted as one paragraph. Oh my.
Month/Cycle? 7
WTO/TWW? WTO
Ages of other child(ren)? 17 months
Any thoughts about this cycle?
Any questions?
My grandma and I are really close and I feel like it’s a symbol of our connection and it is just beyond special to me.
edit for one paragraph thing again
Month/Cycle? 6/6
WTO/TWW? Unsure
Ages of other child(ren)? Almost 18 months
Any thoughts about this cycle? Can’t figure out if I ovulated. Temps are much higher than they have been, but not as high as they were been when TTC DS
Any questions? Gonna post in the chart stalk thread

I've been thinking about you since your update, and I really hate that you're back here.
Give yourself some extra TLC this week!
