So many great products have disappeared because others didn’t share your refined 😉 tastes. What did you use to enjoy that you can’t find ANYWHERE anymore? A certain brand? A certain flavor? A food, a game, a hygiene product? Heck, a band that broke up? A great tv show that was cut too soon? Let’s bring in some bittersweet nostalgia. Maybe we’ll find enough of us to rally behind your favorite time-forgotten thing to bring it back!

Fiber One used to make a shredded wheat cereal (basically like frosted mini wheats) and I was so mad when they stopped making it! I have no idea if it was actually healthier than the frosted mini wheats though, but it was just as good.

My favorite lotion from Bed Bath and Beyond. I got through one bottle in high school, went to get another and it was gone. I STILL look every time I’m there just in case lol

I really really miss PB Crisps!  Not sure if anyone else here remembers them but they were my favorite snack as a kid.... it was a crisp in the shape of a peanut shell and it was filled with peanut butter.  AH-MAZE-ING!

@kpearse99 yes! I remember those! I've probably only had those a handful of times in my life but yum peanut butter!

Another great discontinued item was my Microsoft Zune. Never had a problem with it, unlike the iPod nano I had...

This isn't a discontinued thing, but have any of you ever been back in the toy aisle at stores and seen how the packaging and/or the look of a toy or game has changed since you had it as a kid? Like that Polly pocket isn't those little case things anymore, she's like a figuring that's a few inches tall. I wonder if we still have ours? 🤔

@inthewoods23 I LOVED POLLY POCKET!!!  But the original ones... not the news ones like you mentioned today.  They just aren't the same!

I wish they made legos the same as they did before. Now you cannot seem to buy them without a theme. I also really liked the game 13 Dead End Drive and Solarquest. Luckily I still have Solarquest and all of its parts. For those of you that don't know, it is Monopoly but in space and way better.

Yes to PB Crisps and 3D Doritos! 

Bigelow Tea used to have a yummy vanilla almond black tea, but they stopped making it. Republic of Tea makes one, but it's way more expensive and I don't like it as much.

Mine is much more recent - Neutrogena got rid of my long-time favorite eyeliner, and I'm just lost without it.

Anyone remember Pop Secret Magic Colors popcorn?  You never new what color you'd get until you popped it and opened up the bag.  My brothers and I learned how to gamble with this product  hahaha making bets on what color it would be.

Oooh, I just thought of one.  I'm tall, and it's really difficult to find jeans that are long enough, fit me well, and don't cost $100 a pair.  Old Navy made a style call The Sweetheart that fit me perfectly, and they stopped making it, and I'm still heartbroken over it.  I actually just got a hole in the crotch of the last pair I had left, and I am so so sad.  They say their curvy jean is similar, but it's not the same.

@emeraldduchess Bigelow also got rid of their pomegranate back tea and it's the only one DH likes!! I found a twinings brand version on amazon that is supposed to arrive this week. I hope DH likes it!

There were a lot of awesome computer games back in the day too. Like Carmen San Diego. Does anybody remember the CDs that you could get in cereal boxes???

@lcking82 I thankfully have not had any makeup products discontinued that I couldn't find a replacement for. There was a shampoo and conditioner that legit removed all frizz from my wavy hair. I think the brand was SunSilk! Now I can't ever get rid of frizz!

My family has a knack for liking oddball flavors that get discontinued. Mh is still mourning the discontinuation of bbq Fritos.
 My mom finally found a kashi brand replacement for special k blueberry.
My bro finally found a replacement for trident cherry chewing gum. (His wife’s grandmother, visiting from Taiwan, silently swiped his entire stash and then he realized it was discontinued when he went to buy replacements. 😂)
Mh and I agreed on glade matcha garden plug ins, and apparently it was just a limited time scent. It’s recent enough to overpay to get it on eBay, but I’m holding my breath for a “new scent” that’s the same with a new name.

Also, please try the cinnamon bun Oreos if you haven’t already. In my opinion, they taste identical.

@shamrocandroll I basically rarely wear pants/jeans bc I'm too short and they always drag on the ground? So I feel you on the never being able to find jeans but for a different reason haha. You should wear the ones w/ a hole but w/ a skirt over it! See below lol.

Um, bell-bottomed jeans were really big in the mid-late 90s--not like, HUGE ones, but jeans that flared  at the bottom and covered your shoes. This was perfect for me bc I am short and would buy these platform shoes and my longer flared bottoms would therefore not drag on the ground. I always considered myself a "big jeans, tight tank top" kind of girl, but there's not really pants for that look anymore? Anyway, these are my dream jeans, currently being advertised on the internet as "90s vintage" omg:

I had three pairs of these shoes, one w/ black flame & two in the orange...

I got called "Stuck in the 90s K--" in college bc of all these things lol. I still wear skirts over pants, eff it, I don't care.

-The Oregon Trail game - second edition. It was the best. I would probably play it every day if I could find it.

-Filmstruck which was a streaming service that had classic/foreign films and the Criterion Collection, which shut down last year. Apparently the Criterion collection is making their own streaming service but I liked Filmstruck more for the obscure old movies, not the super highbrow ones.

-This type of chewing gum from when I was little that had like jelly inside from when I was little? Like Gushers but gum. (So glad to hear they still make Gushers @kpearse99 !)

-There was also this program called Microsoft Bob which I used to mess around with when I was like 13...it wasn't for kids, it was a home organization program where you could keep notes, info on bills, etc. But you could also like design a house and store different info in different rooms and go from room to room?? Honestly it was weird and I liked it b/c I was weird and just wanted to be middle-aged and have a house at that age.   But I wonder if it would be fun to use now?? I guess it's been replaced by apps...

I'm sure I'll think of more! Trying to think of makeup/skincare stuff...

Carmen San Diego was one of my favorites, I don't think I ever beat that game!  So, I played a Mother Goose computer game, where the nursery rhythms all got mixed up and you had to go on this huge scavenger hunt to get them back to their correct places.  Sounds corny, but it was super fun!  Also - who could forget...

@whitealbum29 ...now I want to play Microsoft Bob! We had the Sims Building game for Nintendo, which I LOVED. I got a Sims building game for my phone thinking it would be similar, but it's really not--there's way too much going on; I miss the simplicity of the one we had for Nintendo. I still have my old NES & a few of my fave games for it (I actually had a dream last night that DH was trying to give away Mario 1, 2, & 3, & I was like "Absolutely not"), another being Ms. Pacman, which I also love the arcade version of-- I'll always pop a quarter in an old school Ms. Pacman (Gotta be Ms.!) arcade game! One of my dreams is to have one for my house. Preferably the cocktail table version...

@kagesstarshroom YES!!! Flare jeans! I don't like wearing skinny jeans with tennis shoes and boot cut are just not wide enough. I still have NES and SNES with games and accessories. We recently got a RetroPie from my cousin so now DH wants to sell all of our NES and SNES stuff.

@m6agua Right?! I feel like skinny jeans look weird with... shoes. lol I need boots over them, and moving to that style still was a big step for me. I would never let MH sell my NES haha-- I have some of the same games for Wii but it's not the same?

@inthewoods23 I also have frizzy hair and the only thing that has helped is caffeine oil! They sell it at Walmart for under 15$ and it lasts me almost a year ! They say you should spray it directly onto your head but it’s so thick I got like greasy looking patches. So I put 4 sprits in my hand and put it they my hair that way

@inthewoods23 TOTALLY forgot about SunSilk! I like the Caviar and the Its a 10 products! My hair is like wavy/curly and super thick and it helps!
