How are you (really) doing? Exausted- getting maybe 4 hours of sleep per day. Little man won't sleep without a passy but he also can't keep it in.
Questions? Any tricks to help baby's startle response? He keeps waking himself up.
Anything you've learned so far that you want to share? 2nd degree tears are no joke! Oww. And riding in DH's SUV aggregates the area. I keep looking up articles on healing time hoping it will get better soon.
** lurker** @tmblickley do you swaddle? swaddling (whether in the traditional form or using one of the velcro ones) helps to keep themselves from startling awake.

@wabash15, yep with a muslin blanket but he wriggles his arms free (DH is better at it). We tried a pod sleep sack but he hated it. Headed to the store to get a velcro halo to try. Thanks for the suggestion!
How are you (really) doing? Great, my c-section was super easy to heal from, my kid is the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen (I know we all feel that way), I’m feeling like getting back to work (part time). We took him to San Diego last weekend.
Questions? Can I get in the Facebook group?
Anything you've learned so far that you want to share? Parenting is hard yo...but worth it!
How are you (really) doing? Pretty well. We lucked out with a pretty chill baby so far- she sleeps fairly easily, and is fairly easy to console. Postpartum recovery has probably been one of the harder parts- I’m healing well enough, but it’s tough being sore and feeling beat up when all I want to do is love this little one.
Questions? Does anyone have recommendations for postpartum/nursing clothes? Any comfy key pieces? I feel like a milk goblin.
Anything you've learned so far that you want to share? Teamwork. DH and I are new at this- not even any nieces and nephews- but we’ve been figuring it out together and it’s really kept friction/crankiness between us down.
