Neupogen dose? Safe?

Can anyone with Neupogen use give me info on your dosage? Side effects? Long term side effects?
When did you use it and why?
Did you have any tests done to show that is what was needed? If so, what tests were they? Why do IVF doctors just throw you on medications before testing?
Also - is the aluminium in Intralipids harmful? How do you get it out of your system?
Thanks

  • @sunnyday120 I only used neupogen for 2 weeks. I don’t remember the dosage. You inject it with a tiny needle and you don’t feel it. (Doesn’t burn). I didn’t have side effects but I used it for a very short period of time.

I had 4 PGS normal embryos. The first one ended in a MMC and the second one in CP. which is why my RE suggested neupogen.

I havent done any tests to show I need neupogen but I’ve done the miscarriage panel of bloodwork and done some other blood tests (I believe to check autoimmune issues). All my BW came normal. So before transferring the 3rd PGS normal embryo my RE suggested it. That cycle ended with a BFN. So I have no idea if it would have helped.

After that, before transferring my last PGS normal embryo I’ve done ERA and found out that I need another 12 hours of PIO. But that didn’t help either (I also go the flu the day after that transfer. So that might have been why that embryo didn’t stick).

So I  ended up doing another IVF and transferring on day 3.

    Few questions for you:
    - were your embryos PGS?
    - if not PGS, were they good quality?
    - did you RE do blood tests to see if you have any other issues that might cause MC?
    - did your RE suggest ERA?

another thing that I’ve done after my first failed transfer was a biopsy if the uterine lining to make sure everything is ok there. So I would also ask for that, if I were you.

Let me know  if you have any other questions.
