Re: Everyone check in 4/8

  • I'm revising what I put for my questions. Have any of you experienced Hypothyroidism during pregnancy? And how it was treated?

  • Apparently dairy is the theme for me: cheese, ice cream, and milkshakes.
Oh my goodness, @greenbean-2 , me too! I can't get enough chocolate milkshakes! Wonder if that means anything.

I have this, developed it with the pregnancy. I just take a small dose of Synthroid every morning, and they check my TSH levels every 3-4 weeks. So far I haven’t had any ill effects from it at all and my numbers have been great.

@jenferlee82 Thank you for sharing, I had a feeling my thyroid has been off for years now, but the doc just said it was either PCOS or just a weight thing.

Me too which is weird because normally I would choose vanilla, strawberry, Oreo, anything other than a chocolate milkshake (I like chocolate in general, I just prefer other ice cream flavors). But lately I just want chocolate shakes.

  • @marbellie I love lucies list for product reviews and what you "need" they offer options at different price points and just a lot of options with great info.
Big fan of Lucie's List reviews over here, too!

You’re welcome! Hopefully they can get you on the right medicine and regulated.

    Team Finding Out/Blue/Pink/Green: finding out

Upcoming Appointments: I just had one today so not for another 5 weeks

How are you feeling?: Human! After my appointment I was actually able to get some things done around the house, play with DS AND make dinner. But now I’m done moving for the day haha

    Rants/Raves:
Rant - So many of my friends are on vacation/traveling right now. I’m itching to go somewhere!
Rant - DS threw up once yesterday. I’m pretty sure it was just him gagging on mucus and he’s been 100% fine ever since but I hate vomiting and am convinced he’s going to throw up all over himself again at any given moment. Anxiety is awesome.
Rave - The weather is aaamazing

Questions: For the smaller chested ladies - what brand of bra do you wear? I typically wear underwire something from Target but it’s getting tight. I found a wireless one (so comfortable!) there I thought I liked but after bringing it home I don’t like the cut of it. Hoping to not spend much bc I don’t know how long I’ll wear it

GTKY: what’s your guilty pleasure of the month? Outlander. The books and show. The views of Scotland are incredible and the romance is 🔥 🔥Now that I'm feeling better I think it’s helping me get my sex drive back 😆
  • cmbt2cmbt2 member
@melanier26 mine are all VS bras. I wear a 32 band, and it’s hard to find (actually, I’m a 30, but it’s next to impossible so I deal). I only got 2 in each size since I grow so much. If you’re going to have more than one kid, put them away in storage because you may need them again.

  • @steminist I have also been indulging the in the Starburst jelly beans pretty hard. Easter has the best candy!

@Junebaby2 sex results waiting in the portal and not peeking until DH and I could view them together after work was exactly me last Thursday. It was a tough exercise in willpower, but you can do it!!

@jane101757 I will have to check out those lemon packets. I'm getting so bored with regular water and I'm burned out on sparkling water. I have been enjoying Spindrift sodas which are a little different though.

@PenelopeSnuz77 I also can't wait for GOT. We are going to start rewatching the last season now in anticipation of the premiere on Sunday. Can't wait!

Alllll the sugar and carbs and sparkling juice.

Outlander is the shit, absolutely love it. I'm going through withdraw right now because I finished the latest season. Which season are you on?

@PenelopeSnuz77 I'm excited for GOT as well!! Were gonna do catch up on Saturday. Im just so sad it'll be over.
  • @Cass005 I read the first book then started watching. I’m currently still watching season one but am reading the second book at the same time. I’m thinking about giving up on the books. They’re very wordy and I’m not enjoying the second one as much.
  • @melanier26 I've heard that the show is dead on compared to the books so you  might be fine. I've never read them myself because I know it would take me a century lol. Season One is still my favorite, but the whole series is awesome.
  • @melanier26 jumping in on your Outlander discussion because I may be slightly obsessed 😆 but I’m in book 2 right now too. I’m about half way though and finding it pretty slow. My sister just finished book 3 and said it was soooo good, so I think it might just be this one!
  • @jal88144 The same thing happened with the show, the 2nd season was slower.

@egb428 I drink protein drinks occasionally. Just make sure it’s not ones that contain caffeine and you’re not doing it to replace meals. There’s also things about not having to much soy, particularly if having a boy 🤷🏼‍♀️

FFThC? I read Outlander because moms from my other BMB were raving about it but honestly by the 5th(?) book I just hated Jamie.I get needing to have a dream man in a romantic plot (duh) but damn something about him just grated on me and I found myself wishing he'd get maimed or have a personality transplant along the way.

@jhokaj524 I say this to everyone who has back pain already- go see a chiropractor!

really, it does help. There’s no need to suffer like I did through my first

I need to and we get a free visit a month through my insurance I just never get a day to myself to go 😑 I need to soon though. I've had back issues since my daughter's epidural, though that's more muscle issue. But I need a pelvix floor and spine or neck reset I think 😔

  • @kindbytealikat we're going to be implementing quiet time once we get settled in the new house!!
  • @BBaires - sleeping is the best! My anxiety has finally dropped off significantly along with nausea, so I can finally enjoy naps when I can take them! Loving it!
