R/R: I was actually on my own at work yesterday which can sometimes suck but it wasn't bad. Same for today. Hope it's not crazy!l

Typical LP length: 14
Testing: Tomorrow morning (I have a 24 day cycle)
R/R: I find the two days before testing the most torturous.. Am I the only one?
I am going to buy a new calendar today at Marshalls. Tomorrow I test and then Thursday I have a consult with a new OB. I am shopping around because my last one was not a good fit.
Crossing F&T today moves quickly.
CS/Q: Newbie question.. Where do people post their BFP? Not asking/hopeful for myself but for you guys!
Me: 35 Husband: 40 TTC #2: Jan 2019 DS: 2.5 yo EDD: 12/2/16 DOB: 10/22/16 (Previously MBS2016 Dec 2016 board
@bobbyflies2020 there is a weekly BFP thread. But it is asked that people only post there if they’ve been a supportive, active member of the community for at least 3 months. So some people get their BFP and just move silently to their BMB.
Month/Cycle: 7/6
CD/DPO: 27/8
Timing: -1, O
Typical LP length: 10ish
Testing: Not going to, just waiting for AF
R/R: I’ve been spotting since 6DPO, so I have zero hope on this unmedicated cycle. I think I’m just going to try progesterone suppositories next cycle.
R/R: Thanks so much for all of the support yesterday. Work is so nuts lately and night time routine took 2.5 hours last night, so I never got back on. I just want to go to bed when I get home and I’m wondering if it’s hormones, depression, or both... I brought all sorts of food to work to drown my sorrows in. Crossing my fingers I don’t have a meeting after work and / or it’s short.

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@lcking82 Sorry they gave you a hard time about your appointment! Hope the progesterone helps. @bobbyflies2020 Marshall’s is dangerous! Good luck with your new OB. @inthewoods23 Nice temps!

@daffodil_shoe: I think she just didn’t understand what I was asking about - it was the end of the day on a monday- once I finally got the full story out, she finally got me in. I just felt like we going in circles for a bit. It was like, dude just let me come get a lab drawn on Thursday. K, thanks, bye.
@daffodil_shoe Thanks for clarifying about the BFP post. I was thrown off by the 3 month+ rule, but now I know what steps to take (if that somehow magically happens to me ^^;)
Sorry for being a newbie, but what are the benefits of progesterone suppositories? @NYTino24 Hoping you have a short/easy work day too!
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 16/5
Timing: -5, -4, -3, 0 (x2), 2, 3 {Probably not spot on as I don't due any ovulation testing and I'm just basing this on cervical mucus consistency.}
Typical LP length: no idea
Testing: too early
R/R: Totally landed myself in a fibromyalgia flareup (what I was worried about yesterday), so everything hurts today. I went for a short walk with DH out in the forest yesterday afternoon, and it made things much worse. I was on an ice pack most of the night and didn't sleep soundly, so I'm not sure if I should venture out to the gym for my scheduled cardio today. It is so annoying to hit this roadblock in my health plan!

@bobbyflies2020 in addition to what @daffodil_shoe said, if you mean your BFP pee stick, there's a pinned thread on the 1st Trimester board for posting those.
@flowntheloop progesterone is needed to help support a pregnancy. Often those who have short luteal phases don't produce enough so that AF comes before an embyro even has a chance to implant. Spotting would mean AF is coming soon and I think at that point the uterus wouldn't be in a condition for implantation. I don't have a progesterone problem (to my knowledge since my LP is around 12-13 days unmedicated) but when I used them as part of the protocol for my IUIs it extended my LP by a few days so it was more like 15-16 days.
Side note - when I typed implantation above on mobile, one of the options on the keyboard had it in the mocking SpongeBob meme way as ImPlAnTaTiOn lol gave me a chuckle

@NYTino24 So sorry things have been so crazy! Hope you're able to get out of this funk soon!
@flowntheloop So sorry about the flareup! Hope you're able to get back in action soon!
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD/DPO: 18/?
Timing: Good... I think? LOL
Typical LP length: Never consistent lol.
Testing: I say WFAF but in all honestly I'll probably start testing 8DPO lol.
R/R: Oh Tuesday! It's supposed to be nice today so I'm excited to get a walk on my breaks! I brought green onions and tzatziki for lunch with a side of deli roast beef and I'm so excited to eat!
CS/Q: I'm questioning everything about this cycle. Why can't they ever be the same? I'm pretty sure I O'ed but my temps are just weird. I've been taking OPKs as well in hopes FF will be like "okay, you O'ed - here's some CHs!"
@flowntheloop I have a luteal phase defect, because my body doesn’t make enough progesterone. So I start spotting early on, and get my period after only about 10 days after ovulation. Progesterone supplements help me keep my endometrium in longer, giving me a chance to become pregnant. I’ve been taken oral Prometrium, but suppositories can be more effective.
@inthewoods23 Nice temp jump @bobbyflies2020 I go BSC in the last couple of days of the TWW. It's s common condition, you aren't the only one @NYTino24 I hope you have a better day today and that the food helps!
Month/Cycle: TTC since June 2017
CD/DPO: IVF equivalent of 10DPO
Timing: Doctor's schedule
Typical LP length: n/a
Testing: yesterday afternoon because I suck at waiting, and again this morning.
R/R: I'm working from home today, which is always a rave. Who needs pants when you can live in pajamas?! The progesterone is kicking my butt. I miss Advil.
@lcking82 Glad you got your appointment scheduled, even though it wasn't easy. I hope you get good test results.
@inthewoods23 I hope you have an easy day by yourself today! I like being the only one at work sometimes. I'm much more productive.
@bobbyflies2020 I test way too early and often. No self control at all.
@daffodil_shoe Sorry about the spotting. that's so frustrating.
@NYTino24 Sorry you had a rough day yesterday. I hope you have a better day today.
@flowntheloop Ugh, sorry you had a flare up. I hope you're feeling more like yourself soon. Can you just do some walking on a treadmill so you still feel like you did something?
@brookert615 My charts always look different too, and it's so annoying. This month looks more like *TW* a post-loss chart, which obviously isnt the case. *End TW* It makes me feel like I'm out already. Stupid charts.
Month/Cycle: 19/10ish
CD/DPO: 6-8
Timing: Good
Typical LP length: 12 days
Testing: Friday probably
R/R: *TW* Today is the anniversary of my best friend's mom's death. We met when we were 5 and she was like a second mom to me, so today is a sad day.
@ruby696 Honestly you would think you would get clarity with charting sometimes but I feel like it's just adding to the confusion lately! So sorry about it being a sad day .
@bobbyflies2020 and @flowntheloop- Just to add to what the others said, the reason we have a 3 month rule, is that's about the time frame that we start to form meaningful connections, and it gives a chance for everyone in both the WTO and TWW to have time to meet you. It can be very hurtful for someone to come on, spend 2 weeks in the TWW thread, and then throw their BFP into the face of the rest of us who have been here much longer.
@daffodil_shoe - Ugh, sorry about the spotting. Have you done progesterone suppositories before?
@NYTino24 - I often drown my sorrows in food, mostly chocolate. Hope work goes well for you.
@flowntheloop - I'm sorry about your flareup. Take it easy and get yourself better!
@brookert615 - Those are weird temps. Like I'm not sure I actually see O yet. Maybe if you get a nice high temp tomorrow?
AFM, test results came back!! More detail in the TFAS thread but it's very good news. My cardiologist called me on Sunday and still wants to put the ICD in, but he's going to take our case before the Mayo clinic to make sure that's the latest protocol. I'm coming to terms with it, but it's just scary to think of doing a surgery like that at only 26, and having it in my body for the rest of my life. Also, I'm starting to feel the testing urge. So much for relaxing and not tracking this cycle. AF is due Saturday at the earliest, and I so want to test then!
@marebear15 I appreciate your insight! I'm hoping for higher temps tomorrow. It didn't help I was also sick so my temps were probably not normal. That's wonderful news that you posted on the TFAS thread! That is kind of scary about the surgery, but that's good that your cardiologist is making sure that everything's the latest protocol!
@marebear15 Totally understandable! That has to be very discouraging! @ruby696 I'm going to try to do some elliptical, but it is hard to even get out of the recliner at this point. Time for my morning green tea. Maybe that will get me moving (at least a little)? @daffodil_shoe@inthewoods23 Thank you both for clarifying.
Me: 38 DH:38. Dating Anniversary: 1999. Marriage Anniversary: 2001. TTC #1 since 3/2019
@NYTino24 I totally understand about wanting to go to bed as soon as you get home. I think mine is depression. DH is about at his wits end with me. I hope all the food helped!
@flowntheloop ugh sorry it ended up being a full flare up. How long do they usually last?
@brookert615 at least you know yourself with the testing, lol! I hope you enjoy the nice day and that delicious sounding lunch!
@ruby696 I'm so sorry, sounds like a really hard day for you. Take care of yourself
@marebear15 I'm so happy to see your update in TFAS! I would be nervous for the surgery too, and to echo what others said, I'm happy he's checking into the latest and greatest.
I know I'm on my way out, but figured I'd pop in and say hey.
Month/Cycle: 18
CD/DPO: 27/14ish
Timing: great....
Typical LP length: 14-15
Testing: maybe tomorrow morning just to be sure I don't have to cancel my RE appt Friday - dream big
R/R: I'm feeling better today than yesterday. Getting random cramps so I assume the witch is on her way - whompwhomp. As I posted in the randoms thread, I got coffee with DH this morning (even if we didn't actually drink it together since he had to rush to work) so that was nice. He also made a delicious dinner last night in the joule that I can't wait to have again tonight.
@b_1029 - Ugh, I'm sorry you're out again. I feel like lately we've all just been moving from WTO, to TWW, back to WTO. We haven't had many grads lately. Just one for November and zero for December.
@b_1029 Glad you're feeling better today! Sending all the positive vibes your way, girl! Hoping the cramps are just gas or something lol. But honestly so happy to hear that the RE appointment is finally here and you can get some answers/insight! *Instantly Googles Joule* Yes, I need one lol.
@marebear15 I've noticed that there are a few in November and December but I think just about all of them posted here for less then a month! 😢 Hopefully we get some long-timers graduated soon!
@b_1029 I'm so excited that your RE appointment is finally here! I know things have been really tough for you and I hope so hard that you get answers!

@b_1029 Yay for your upcoming RE appointment - although it would be awesome if you got a last minute bfp. I hope you love your doctor and leave with a plan.
@b_1029 They can last anywhere from 1 day to a week. If I don't push it, maybe I can pull myself out of this. I'm planning on doing a little walking/flower photography this afternoon, but I've been resting most of the day (minus a few chores)

@ruby696 I’m sorry for your loss. It’s hard no matter how much time goes by. I hope you get to do something to honor your second mom, even if it’s just pausing to think about happy times with her.❤️
@marebear15 Glad that your doctor is being so thorough! I can’t begin to imagine the challenging time this is for you, I will be praying for you & your family as you consider this potential surgery.
@flowntheloop You know your body best, but I’d advise you to take the whole day off. Forget exercise etc. I am prone to flare ups too (after intense exercise). I always need about 2-3 days to recover. Hope it settles down soon!
@b_1029 I hope you get that magic tomorrow morning, OR a great appointment with your RE.
@bobbyflies2020 Yes I am approaching that crazy window where things are murky & I just want definitive answers—you’re not alone.
Month/Cycle: 11/6/3 AL
CD/DPO: 20/8
Timing: Awesome
Typical LP length: 10-13
Testing: Tomorrow with purpose. (Yesterday & today for s**** & giggles, whomp whomp)
R/R: The next few DPO 9-12 are the ones that really put me on edge. But I have lots of work to keep occupied so that’s good.
CS/Q: Had a temp drop this morning so it’s a natural mind game of “Could it be an implantation dip?!” OR “It’s the beginning of the end of this cycle”. I did take today’s temp two hours earlier than normal but FF doesn’t have to know that, she will just scold me. 😬
@keikilove: I'm cracking up at your "tomorrow with purpose" comment. Also agree that days 9-12 are where my mind starts to go crazy. Looking at countdown to pregnancy stats for pregnancy tests over and over, analyzing temps, just general nonsense.
@keikilove there are conversion tools for when you take temps earlier or later than normal that can adjust the temp for the proper time. Your temp won't have as much of a dip.

@lcking82 Hahahaha yes to your “just general nonsense” comment! We all can relate to the BSC mind games that TTC brings on.
@inthewoods23 Thanks! I’ve never tried the converters before but you made me curious. I tried it (only putting today’s temp & my usual time of temping)—it gave me the identical temp as yesterday, which is reassuring! Thanks!
@keikilove I make it a point to be as "crunchy" as possible on April 2nd. She was always very environmentally conscientious, so I feel like she would get a kick out of me using beeswax wrap for my lunch. Lots of walking/recycling/composting today.
@lcking82 I hate it when people like nurses are difficult to work with. I hope that your testing goes well on Thursday.
@inthewoods23 I hope that today wasn't too crazy on your own.
@bobbyflies2020 You aren't the only one when it comes to the last few days before testing. I always try and wait for AF because money, but I almost always cave and test before hand. I think last cycle was the first time I've actually ever made it to AF without testing.
@daffodil_shoe I'm sorry about the spotting. I hope that next cycle the progesterone helps with that.
@flowntheloop I hope the flare doesn't last long and you feel better soon.
@ruby696 I'm so sorry for your loss. Anniversaries are always hard. Sending you extra hugs today.
@marebear15 I'm glad that the test results were good! I understand feeling anxious about getting that type of surgery so young. I'm glad that your doctor is checking in to make sure he has the most up to date protocol though.
@b_1029 There is nothing better than a man who can cook! Enjoy that meal!
@keikilove I'm glad that you have things to try and take your mind of the wait. I start to get jumpy around 10-13 DPO but it's always easier when I'm busy so I don't just sit at home and spend hours comparing charts on FF.
Month/Cycle: 15/15
CD/DPO: 18 / 3dpiui
Timing: good hopefully
Typical LP length: 14
Testing: too early
R/R: I've been having some cramping and fullness in my stomach/sides since the IUI. I'm not sure if that's normal side effects or if I should ask my doctor about it. I'll probably ask if it keeps up or gets worse tomorrow or the next day. The library I've been volunteering at emailed me a link to a part time job application that they have open, so I'm going to fill it out and turn it in tomorrow. I hope they hire me, but if not then I'll keep volunteering.
TW: Baby mentioned
I went and brought lunch to one of my good friends who has a 5 month baby at home and hung out with them. He's super cute and very attentive for his age. It's so bittersweet whenever I spend time with friends who have babies.
@flowntheloop FX it doesn’t last long! Are you taking meds that help? @marebear15 It’s a lot to deal with, but hopefully you won’t have too many worries after! @brookert615 Now I want to eat some of that!! @b_1029 Hopefully that depression will go away with some good news today?! If not, I hope your RE appointment is productive! @littleredm Maybe that’s a good thing!!
AFM, sorry I wasn’t able to get back on. I didn’t have a meeting at work, but I did stay later to do some major spring cleaning. I got rid of a lot of stuff and it feels good. I just can’t manage 27 kids and more things around the room.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 I am avoiding taking any meds. I've always been super sensitive to pharmaceuticals in general (lots of side effects) so this isn't a big deal for me. When I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia back in 2015, I turned down any medications that were offered (as I had read up on my options and was not satisfied).
I WAS taking a natural supplement that was rather helpful with pain before TTC, but I have fully cut it out. Too risky, so I'll just stick with ice, heat, rest, physical therapy exercises, and toughing it out. ^^; I have hypermobility issues, so it complicates things even more.

@inthewoods23 hope work isn’t too crazy today!
CS/Q: nah
CD/DPO: 25/5
Timing: -3
Typical LP length: 8 or 10 lately
Testing: nope
R/R: Thanks so much for all of the support yesterday. Work is so nuts lately and night time routine took 2.5 hours last night, so I never got back on. I just want to go to bed when I get home and I’m wondering if it’s hormones, depression, or both... I brought all sorts of food to work to drown my sorrows in. Crossing my fingers I don’t have a meeting after work and / or it’s short.

Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 16/5

R/R: Totally landed myself in a fibromyalgia flareup (what I was worried about yesterday), so everything hurts today. I went for a short walk with DH out in the forest yesterday afternoon, and it made things much worse. I was on an ice pack most of the night and didn't sleep soundly, so I'm not sure if I should venture out to the gym for my scheduled cardio today. It is so annoying to hit this roadblock in my health plan!

@daffodil_shoe So sorry about the spotting!

@flowntheloop So sorry about the flareup! Hope you're able to get back in action soon!

R/R: I'm working from home today, which is always a rave. Who needs pants when you can live in pajamas?! The progesterone is kicking my butt. I miss Advil.
CS/Q: Not yet.

@inthewoods23 - Good luck running the one-man show.

@ruby696 I'm going to try to do some elliptical, but it is hard to even get out of the recliner at this point. Time for my morning green tea. Maybe that will get me moving (at least a little)?

@flowntheloop Sorry about your flare-up. Having to stop/reschedule appointments is a hassle, but your wellness is important.

@bakerstreetboys yay for a WFH day!
@ruby696 I'm so sorry, sounds like a really hard day for you. Take care of yourself
@marebear15 I'm so happy to see your update in TFAS! I would be nervous for the surgery too, and to echo what others said, I'm happy he's checking into the latest and greatest.

CS/Q: Had a temp drop this morning so it’s a natural mind game of “Could it be an implantation dip?!” OR “It’s the beginning of the end of this cycle”. I did take today’s temp two hours earlier than normal but FF doesn’t have to know that, she will just scold me. 😬

I WAS taking a natural supplement that was rather helpful with pain before TTC, but I have fully cut it out. Too risky, so I'll just stick with ice, heat, rest, physical therapy exercises, and toughing it out. ^^; I have hypermobility issues, so it complicates things even more.
