11 week pregnant and have the flu

I am 11 weeks pregnant and just tested positive for the flu. I started taking Tamiflu and Tylenol for the fever. I am terrified that either the medication or the flu itself will do something to the baby. This is my first pregnancy. Can anyone offer any reassurance?

Bing on th meds as soon as you have is better than going through the flu with nothing and having high fever for days and risking higher complications.  If the meds were not safe,  or risks outweigh the benefits,for you and baby, they would not have put you on them.

I’m 5 weeks and in the same boat. Tylenol and tamiflu. My OB said it’s safe. Hope you feel better soon!
