@rms924 that’s not cool of your in-laws. Not one bit, and especially when you are pregnant! When my family comes, they ask for the keys to the car, and go to the grocery store to grab us some groceries, and they always plan a dinner. We don’t ask them to do that, and we like to treat them, but everything goes both ways! Consideration especially when they are staying with you that long is a must! Ugh! Time to set some boundaries, and expectations. I’m sorry you have to do that!
@Niko1e all I can say is- what the freaking hell!?
People in the grocery store checkout lane......BACK THE EFF OFF!
Dude man, yeah I’m way down here putting my groceries in bags and into my cart but I still have to go back there and pay. But now you and you cart are in the way of the pin pad and you can’t back up because the person behind you is up your butt too!
I’m not saying leave a mile, but quit with the crowding already!
@LilyASF42 ARGH!! I know! I was returning something at Wal Mart yesterday and a lady came up behind me with her cart inches from me. I turned around and damn near ran right into it! A little space please lady!
This seems like the most appropriate place to share this. Yesterday my neighbor friend, who's a SAHM, (innocently) asked me how my husband feels about me going back to work after the baby is born. I'm sorry, I didn't realize we were still living in the 50s. How about asking me how I feel about it, Carol?!
To be clear, SAHMs are awesome, it's just not for me right now. I just think it's dumb that people ask us things that they would never think to ask a man.
@cammie0526 That reminds me of the time I asked neighbors on NextDoor for a recommendation on childcare since I would be going back to work and had one lady comment "Babies need their mommies to care for them".
Uh, thanks for the mom guilt. I would if I could ya ol skank
@nomangos23 I almost want someone to say something like that to me so I can say "um yeah, I would literally be the worst SAHM of all time and probably screw my child up".

@nomangos23 Ooh, that would’ve made my blood boil even more!
@MsBeachNJ I just kind of laughed it off and told her that he knows how much I enjoy my job, and we both know that I’ll be a better mom as a working mom. We always joke with each other that between the two of us, he would totally be the better stay at home parent!
Re: Twat Waffle Tuesday
Ugh some people... I couldn't imagine saying that to anyone, pregnant or not.. so rude!!
@Niko1e all I can say is- what the freaking hell!?
@kaceyallan My jaw is just on the floor. Wtf!?
Why are all of these people making me feel like cursing!? Pull it together, rude and crazy people!
I don’t get it - it takes a lot less effort to be kind
