First Ultrasound, Empty Sac, Nervous Mama

Hey ladies. 

First time mama over here, so incredibly excited and nervous all at the same time.

My husband and I went in for my first appointment, I thought I was 8w5d along, based on my LMP. 

I had a transvaginal ultrasound; the Sac was visible, but nothing inside was visible, for what the Dr could tell. 

The sac measured a mean of a 2.0cm, which would put me around 6 1/2 - 7 weeks (Clearly, I was way off from my calculations; Dr said I could have ovulated later). 

The Dr said it could be too early to see anything in the Sac, we go back in 7 days for another scan. 

I am just so nervous and praying my little pea shows up. Anyone face a similar situation? Any thoughts/advice?
