@galetine agreed. They just want to attention. I'll also add the ones who do drive by bad news posts. I'm sorry your experiencing a tough time/anxiety. But I cannot offer you the proper support because 1 I don't know your story and 2 I am being triggered by your post and 3 annoyed at your lack of respect.
In all honesty, if I don’t know the name, I don’t even click on it.

  • I downloaded the what to expect app, and it turns out they have a community/birth month section too. Every single post is someone asking / worrying / complaining about something that is specific only to that poster. So I guess some people think TB is the same way?

  • Ugh! Tell me about it. Whenever I see a drive-by post, I click on the username like, "Yep. This is their first and only post. No need to waste my time here."

  • @greenbean-2 to answer your question, yes. Absolutely dead even calories. And also, I am extremely jealous of your breakfast because that is what I wanted BUT my mom made me run a bit late for work and Dunkins drive through was packed by the time I was driving by.

FFFC: I'm already thinking about the first meal I want after giving birth. A really big Greek salad from my favorite restaurant that is about 15 minutes away from the hospital. It's seriously all I've thought about all day.

@sorarose I totally get it. My MS has been almost non-existent today so I've been dreaming about runny eggs and toast. Mmmmmmm...

    ETA: And mimosas.

@elle-0409 Yeah, I'm in a weird stage of completely nauseous but craving foods I can't have. It's pretty terrible on all fronts.

    elle-0409emily1052
  • Why is it that I only want food when it's off limits? Runny eggs and toast would never be my first choice, but now that you mentioned it @elle-0409, I want runny eggs on toast SO BAD. Omg yum.
    soraroseelle-0409emily1052
  • @sorarose That is so frustrating. I hope you feel better soon!
@galentine A runny egg and avocado toast used to be my breakfast almost every morning. How is your morning sickness? Any better? Today I've felt almost like my former self!

@greenbean-2 I made a point of eating a lot of sushi during TTC. Miss it so much though.

  • @elle-0409, my morning sickness is getting so much better! The last few weeks I've felt sick most of the day with little breaks of feeling good here and there. Now the sick and good feelings seem to have swapped. The last few days I've felt mostly good, with just little bits of nausea here and there. I'm so excited!! I'm glad you are feeling more like yourself too!

Eat it. It’s the only way I can stomach eggs

  • My daughter had 2 fruit snacks that she was playing with and then abandoned, so I ate one. Now she’s looking for it, saying “uh oh” and I feel only a little bad 😬🙈

I saw the tax accessor outside today as I was reinstalling car seats
into DH’s car (we removed them for being able to use the back seat to move things). When I was done, I saw the accessor move to get out of his car. My confession is I hightailed it back into the house and closed the garage as soon as I could so he couldn’t ask to come in. 😂 drivebys only, tax man. DNW you seeing my majorly upgraded kitchen. I’m so glad the first thing we did was install the blinds 🤣

So after I have birth to my daughter I was SO HUNGRY. I ordered a cheeseburger from the cafeteria, and that cold, suspiciously perfectly circular burger was the best thing I ever are.

  • Fffc: this week I ate Subway and dippy eggs. (at least I asked the last to microwave my chicken, but I definitely loaded up on the other toppings and who knows where salmonella or Listeria strike next anymore)

@wintersong My other pregnancies it was beautiful sushi. Best push gift ever.

  • Omg all the talk of sushi makes me want it despite being so nauseous

my FFC: all day long I am just waiting for DH to put DS to bed so I can watch Call the Midwife. It’s the only thing that distracts me from the nausea enough that I’m not miserable 😩

I was STARVING after DS was born (admitted at 1am and born at 1215pm 😫) and the nurse got me an amazing Turkey sandwich from the caf. I ate that over his newly born body while nursing. He wore a decent amount of lettuce 😂

@cmbt2 Nope, although a nurse looked away as I ate a granola bar right when I was admitted with DD.
