My lunch all week has been: cheese (gouda and cheddar), sweet pickles, green olives, and wheat thins. I have skipped the wheat thins all week and never seem to pack enough pickles and olives.
With DH out of town, dinners are kinda crazy. Nothing has really hit the spot, it's more about keeping the kids alive.
We've had pasta with homemade sauce (from the freezer) and it has been delicious, but I really think it is the fresh cheese that I'm enjoying the most. I'm also really excited that fresh local fruit will be available soon.
@sourlemon I've been loving pickles too. I told my DH I was entering cliche territory.

@Avrilmai its funny because one of the first signs i was pregnant was when pickles started tasting HORRIBLE to me. Its only been the last few weeks that they are the best thing ever created. Usually I'm a pickle lover.
I totally had kale salad, with nuts and berries, and BBQ chicken breast for supper. Here's to finally eating something healthy 😂 well... If you don't count the garlic toast. But still.
@chillycanadian that salad and the garlic toast sounds soooo good --- minus the BBQ chicken! I haven't been able to stomach the idea of BBQ anything since December
My big thing this week is homemade fries. I just cut a russet potato into wedges, drench them in olive oil, salt and a little garlic powder and bake at 400 for 20ish minutes. It makes me deliriously happy lol.
I've also been obsessed with making sandwiches (and I'm not normally a sandwich fan at all) and putting at least a half if not a whole avocado on it. Delicious!!
Dreyers slow churn double fudge brownie. Just emptied the carton. So good. Also EGGS. My chickens started laying again so I've been inhaling farm fresh eggs.
I cannot stand any forms of chicken! This is my 3rd pregnancy and it’s so funny how different this all is. I’ve never been a sweets person and I would be happy having cookies and milk for dinner. Thankfully I am able to stomach fruits and veggies!
