R/R: hurray I woke up feeling much more rested than previous days! Rant - that meeting DH had with the kid and associate principal never happened. Kid didn't show up. Turns out he "went home sick" and told no one. I think you're usually supposed to go to the nurse's office first before you can go home. Associate principal had seen the kid earlier in the day and had confirmed with her the time and location of the meeting. I hope they can prove that he skipped school and wasn't actually sick so that we can kick him off the travel team for next week.
CS/Q: I have one but it's better off in the IF thread

R/R: have my last midterm today. So I'm having a tiny pity party, my coworker announced she's getting married March 2020 and now I'm stressing that if we dont get a BFP by next cycle I'm getting too close to her wedding and we cant both be off at the same time. I know I shouldn't worry about it but its stressing me out.
CS/Q: got my CH but FF says O is CD12 not CD11 so that makes my timing better.
Typical LP length: 10-12 depending on how early my shift is picked up after ovulation.
Testing: 3/7 at 10DPO.
R/R: now DH is sick. He asked me last night if we needed to HIO again. Bless his heart, he was willing to take one for the team even when he is feeling so bad. He earned some big TTC points for that. I am planning to take more pictures of the furniture I plan to sell. Hopefully it sells fast so I can be done with this.
CS/Q: my first temp for my shift went up .1 degrees today giving me a stronger shift. I was hoping that was what would happen. Everything looks good, now we just wait.
@kimmer1412 don't plan your life around what your coworkers are doing. It's your employer's job to worry about the 2 of y'all needing time off at the same time. Put that out of your mind!
@inthewoods23 Glad you're feeling rested! Hope that kid gets kicked off the team! skipping school is bad, kids!

CS/Q: I came over based on my OPKs and FF predicted O for yesterday. I just stopped temping this cycle simply because I'm sick and not getting good rest. But it's kind of crazy that I got peak OPKs so soon in my cycle. I usually O on CD18 so this threw me for a loop! Hope that it's a good sign!
@brookert615 it took me a minute to figure out what you meant by this being your Friday. I get it now, it's only Thursdsy. 😂 I swear I can't keep my days straight anymore.
Testing: Dumb. I was super emotional yesterday when I got home due to some family health stuff, walked in the door and just burst into tears when I saw DH. Just out of the blue. So, logically, I went batsh$t crazy and took a test KNOWING it was too early. Anyway, off the crazy train now, feeling ok. Plan is to test Monday as AF should come Tues and I’m leaving that day for a work trip.
R/R: See above. Yesterday was just weird.
CS/Q: not really, just committing to staying sane.
@inthewoods23 I'm glad you're feeling better today! That kid (and his mom) are idiots...it's so annoying that the saga continues!

CS/Q: nope. Edited - I wrote "it's always Friday"...I wish.
@brookert615 not really! Probably just lots of chill time without talking to anyone and actually getting to watch TV on our TV and not my computer/phone, because there won't be sports on for a whole week. WOO! Also, I'm planning on going to visit my parents Thursday night - Sunday because my cousin's fiance's bridal shower is Sunday. It'll be nice to go home and just hang out.
R/R: Rant: Temp is dipping back down. I'm out. *shrugs* When ovulation wasn't clear I started to wonder if I out. I clung to a small glimmer of hope, but was doubtful at the same time. I just want AF to come ASAP so I can start over again (and hopefully should today or tomorrow).
CS/Q: When do you start temping during your cycle and why? I've seen some variation on this and I'm curious (not judging, just trying to learn).
@kimmer1412 echoing everyone else - don't worry about it! It's no different than when someone quits their job. Things get figured out when there's unexpected challenges
@rachelredhead we all need (ok maybe need isn't the right word) a short trip on the crazy train. Glad you got off it so soon!
@b_1029 I'm hoping the associate principal finds him at school today to ask him. I hope it turns into truancy. As mean as that may be, but this kid has caused not only me, but other students in the program to cry! Having the house to yourself sounds great!
@spacemountaineer I typically temped every day, even during AF. Some do it the day after AF ends. Up to you really as long as you get the temp shift

R/R: I went out with some friends for dinner yesterday and had 2 drinks. DH gave me shit about it when I got home. Anyone else avoid alcohol in the TWW? I have never before so I don't know what his deal is.
@Spartanrd4 there is about a 10 day grace period from O day that it shouldn't hurt if you end up KU since implantation wouldn't have occurred yet. But most still avoid to not take any chances in the TWW.
My DH gets upset when I take a sip (says the guy who doesn't workout or try to loose a little weight and has to be told to take his vitamin 😒).

@Spartanrd4 to each their own of course, but I'm team drink till it's pink. I don't go crazy (minus this past weekend on vacation) during the TWW or ever really, but I don't totally skip all alcohol. I typically will just have a glass of wine on the weekends or something during the TWW.
@spacemountaineer - I start temping after AF leaves because I temp vaginally to get more stable temps. Sometimes if AF leaves on a weekend, I'll wait til the next Monday because I temp more consistently on weekdays. Also, my cycle is a little longer than most, so I can afford to start a little later. You really only need 3-6 temps before O to get CHs.
@Spartanrd4 I’m also team drink til it’s pink. I don’t get drunk, but I also don’t worry about a glass or two of wine during TWW. For the bulk of that time there hasn’t been implantation anyway and even after implantation and before a BFP, most would say a drink isn’t going to be harmful. I wouldn’t do a half dozen body shots or anything but if you’re being responsible I think a drink is fine.
That said, I fully understand the mental game and many women are just more comfortable avoiding it just in case. Personally, that tends to make me more crazy. I don’t treat myself like I’m pregnant until I’m pregnant. Before then, I treat myself like I’m TTC. And that means the occasional wine.
To add to what @rachelredhead said, I think some people will even tell you that the occasional glass of wine is okay throughout pregnancy. No idea how many people do that, but it's something I've read.

I personally don't drink at all during 2ww, but I don't drink much any time anyway. Honestly, I've heard stress is worse for TTC than alcohol...so if a few glasses of wine is what helps your stress, why not. Drink till its pink I guess.
