I hate when women call each other "bitches"...I would be po'd if a man said "hey bitches..whats going on?"  so why is it ok for women to be so mean to each other and say it.  I know its supposed to be a "term of endearment" or whatever...but it bugs me.  Its just a nasty word.

That said...calling mean co-workers, and stupid family members bitches does not bug me at all.

I think it is all in the tone.  It doesn't bother me and I am sure I say it jokingly from time to time.  It wouldn't bother me if a guy friend said it jokingly either though.

It's okay in the same way it's okay for black people to call each other the N word.  Dudes can't call women b*tches and white people can't call black people n's. 

Not saying either one is okay but do you see what I'm saying?
