I went to my local hospital on 1/24 because of a fall while I was there I started contracting about every 8 mins even with iv fluids and constant water by the time I left I was at 1cm dilated the sent me home with light activity they gave me a shot for baby lung development and a medication (that hasn't really helped) to stop contractions because they took all these steps could I be looking at preterm labor this is my 4th baby with this on and my ds only being a little under a year apart should I be worried

Stuck in the box.
It sounds like you are in great care with your medical team and this would be a great question for one of them because they know your individual medical history and have medical degrees and years of experience and stuff

That sounds like a scary experience! But I agree it's really something to talk to your doctor about. Only they'd be able to tell you if the contractions are causing you to dilate further. Good luck, tell that baby to stay put a few more weeks!
