Oops I've been reading it in my head wrong. I don't think I have ever heard anyone say the name out loud before, so I have always read it as Vair-ah.

I’ve never heard it as anything except Veerah for a person. The aloe Vera pronounciatuon has not spilled over to the name pronounciatuon as far as I’ve heard.
