I finally have a pic for this! I told DH we needed to take a Pinteresty photo right before we took our tree down. Taken at roughly 22 weeks, will be 23 weeks tomorrow!!
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
@mrsdee15 I just showed my SO your pic. That’s the exact pic I’ve been trying to get and he just doesn’t get it! Maybe we’ll try once more tonight before the tree goes down
@mrsdee15 what a lovely picture! We didn’t do a tree as we were going to be away and I was planning to take a similar picture at my parents, but apparently this Xmas they decided to downsize to a 1.5 foot tree so it didn’t work 🤦♀️
@jessrl@dfirstimer Thank you both!! You made my day! @jessrl I showed DH some similar photos, it took him a while to get on board with it, but once he did he was giving tips on how to make it look better @dfirstimer Full disclosure, that tree was at least half a foot shorter than me so we had to force some perspectives with the camera... It almost got to the point where I was kneeling in front of it to make it look big and lush, then taking a picture from the thighs up.
I am a day late since my outfit yesterday did not accentuate the bump. I have been feeling anxious that my bump has been tiny and at Christmas several people commented that I was still so small. My SIL thinks because I am taller and have a longer torser...anyway, today's photo made me feel a bit better about it. It is definitely there!
@lappymom2019 my last BMB, there was a woman who was very tall and had a long torso and her bump literally looked smaller than yours when she delivered. We were all amazed by it. So no worries!
@lappymom2019 it's hard, but try not to worry unless your Dr says otherwise. Fundal height is more important than bump size Mine is kind of small too at 19 weeks but I'm right on track with fundal height. My first pregnancy my FH fell behind four weeks (measured 30w instead of the 34w that I was) and I had a growth scan to make sure there were no IUGR restrictions. Everything was fine, I was just measuring small.
I feel exactly the same way, have definitely felt like my little bump is...underperforming, and so I haven’t participated in HDBD. I am also on the taller side with a very long torso, so that could be it too? We’ll see what the doctor says at my appointment tomorrow.
@knarlytaurus Motherhood. It was super cute, but I wasn’t brave enough to get it! And looking back I think I should have. I tend to only wear solids. I don’t think I have anything patterned in my closet at all. Closest thing I have to a pattern is stripes, haha!

@teesmee, @sleepy33, @DuchessOfCambridge thank you! That makes me feel a little bit better. I am sure I will be complaining that I feel huge before too long.
A day late but here's my bumpin' bump! 18 weeks 5 days today. I'll have my anatomy scan on Monday but based on the last ultrasound we're pretty sure it's boy/girl I am feeling enormous, not gonna lie. I can't wear normal clothes anymore. I tried wearing a cute pre-pregnancy sweater on New Years but I looked ridiculous. Thank goodness my maternity shirt shipment is coming today!
Just finished at the gym, fed the toddler lunch, and now I’m waiting out his no-nap-rebellion by taking a selfie (a day late for HDBD) instead of cleaning this gross guest bathroom. Yay! 22w+6 today!
@lappymom2019 and @shumbum I’m so jealous of the itty bitty bumps! Even with my first, I never had a tiny bump. It was just “WHAM! There! I’m a bump!” I am 5’2” on a good day and have a very short torso, so nothing hides for long with me. Embrace the tiny bump...just think, minimal stretch marks! 🙌
@lappymom2019 thank you! Found the top at Gap for sale, it isn’t maternity but very stretchy so I figured a belt and tights could work. Sitting at the anatomy scan waiting room...always scary to see your name in the paperwork with a big fat “high risk” label next to it (because I am 42)....can’t wait to go in
@dfirstimer those labels kill me too! I hate the AMA label or geriatric pregnancy one...ugh! Glad my midwife plays them down, but the docs in the office are less than helpful with those terms and sling them around all the time. 😑
@MaggieG183 I know!! A/S went well and dr said everything was ok. His first question was if baby was planned or a surprise? My obgyn has been very good at calming me down about my Age and risks taking it one at a time, we worry enough to be reminded with labels

Taken Sunday at 22+2
This was yesterday at 21+4. Baby girl sure is doing some work on my intestines since she’s only “that” big!
Trying on clothes today. TTM at 22 weeks.
1st time mom, currently at 19 weeks 5 days
@shumbum you look adorable!
Also, I got the shirt at motherhood during a sale.
