Can we talk meds?

I was prescribed Zofran today. Not one I’ve heard of for morning(ha) sickness before...so of course I started googling and the first results were all about birth defects. Can someone share their experience or knowledge of Zofran and its effects?

Your doctor prescribed it to you, knowing you are pregnant......stay away from Dr. Google......trust your doctor.

Touché on Dr Google. It’s just that I don’t fully trust this Dr yet, she’s brand new to me and the nurse made the decision and called it in. Never discussed with Doc

I took zofran for a few weeks in my first trimester. I had to stop taking it, but only because it made me incredibly drowsy and I couldn’t work that way. I’m now 25 weeks and baby is perfectly healthy! 
Your practitioners would most likely have warned you if there was any risk. But I would definitely call and discuss with your ob, if only for your peace of mind.
