Was getting ready to post this but stalled because I couldn't think of a question 😂

Due date/W+D: 19w, May 13

Baby is the size of a(n): I'm not even sure what that thing was supposed to be on the front page. I had just woken up. But I think it said baby's hand...or foot? Is the size of a postage stamp. That's adorable. 

Any appointments? Questions?: Ob appointment today. I'm going to ask her about my cramps/bh but I'm not particularly concerned. 

Rants/Raves?: none really. I'm sick, and that blows. I did feel baby on the outside a couple nights ago! But I'm pretty annoyed with how little he moves. I used to have dreams before I got pregnant that I could feel the baby kicking, but then all of a sudden it would stop, and I wouldn't be pregnant anymore. And for some reason, this has been reminding me of those dreams and I can't get it out of my head. 

How are you feeling?: tired, sick. But pregnancy-wise, fine. Just crampy. 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Why?

I don't know. I'm introverted in that I don't particularly care for meeting new people.. My anxiety is insane for that. But extroverted in that I love to talk with people, and get antsy if I'm alone too long. I guess I really don't know how to answer this, I'm weird. I like my bed, books, and my dog more than I like talking to people. But eventually I crave human contact and love talking and can be pretty good, surprisingly, at striking up conversations with strangers and meeting acquaintances.

Any appointments? Questions?: 20 week scan and follow up next Wednesday from my little hospital visit. Question: if you did a gender reveal party, did you and DH know the gender going in or was it also a surprise for you?

Rants/Raves?: Rave: DH and my mom felt baby move on Friday night, which was amazing! ❤️ Rant: That hospital stay sucked and I’m so happy to be home.

How are you feeling?: Minus the intense pain that landed me in the hospital, I actually feel pretty good. 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Why? I am a total introvert. My ideal night is staying at home with DH and a movie. I don’t have many close friends so I don’t really go out much.

Any appointments? Questions?: Had our anatomy scan today. Baby boy is checking out perfect (measuring ahead to 20w4d - though that's arbitraty - and it's so comforting. I am just so grateful. Next OB is Jan 8th. Can't believe it will be the new year.

Rants/Raves?:  It's always a rave when we get to see our littles. I survived a very busy day yesterday with minimal aches and pains. I sing in the adult shoir at church and we had our Christmas cantata yesterday morning. I also help direct our children's choir and they had their musical yesterday evening. My DD (5.5) has auditioned and got a speaking role in the play, and it was such a blessing to watch her perform last night. MH and I both had the acting bug in high school and college, so it's so fun to see her naturally drawn to performing.

How are you feeling?:  I can't fight this sciatica. It's killer. I need to be more persistent with stretching, but it's so hard. Otherwise, pretty good. Heartburn reared it's ugly head in the last week or so. It was so miserable at the end of my pregnancy with DD, I'm not looking forward to that.

GTKY: Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Why? I'm extroverted, but I do appreciate my alone/family/quiet time.

Due date/W+D: 5/11 19 weeks 2 days 

Baby is the size of a(n): mango

Any appointments? Questions?: I had my OB appointment today and officially no more pelvic rest! She is so reassuring and said she wasn’t concerned with the placental lake. Baby’s heart rate was right on target but have to wait until the 28th to see them again. I feel like I’m the only one who still doesn’t know what they are having (who isn’t team green). Question: we discussed having my tubes tied (I am having a repeat section) just wondering if anyone has thoughts? 

Rants/Raves?:

My kids at school have all lost their minds. It doesn’t help that I have a new student who was placed in my room due to behavioral concerns. The behavior is so disruptive it sets all the kids off and is eating up a ton of my attention. I definitely am going to need the break at Christmas. 

How are you feeling?:  overall pretty good. I am still having headaches but my BP was good today. As of this week though I am supposed to check it once a day due to my history of PIH and PRe e. Just happy to feel baby moving around more consistently. 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Why?
i am definitely an extrovert. I want to be around people all the time. I hate being cooped up in the house and am always looking for our next adventure. I also probably talk too much. I do keep a really small circle of friends though so even though I’m out going it takes a long time for me to form close friendships. Funny thing is dh and ds1 are both introverts and I am always dragging them all over the place even though they would rather never leave the house.

Due date/W+D: May 14/18w6d

Any appointments? Questions?: Had an appointment on Friday with the Midwife. Anatomy scan is one week from today. We caved after the midwife appointment and went to have an elective 3D ultrasound because we couldn’t wait any longer to find out the sex. It’s a GIRL!

Rants/Raves?: So excited to finally know what we’re having. I’ve been thinking it’s a girl all along, so I wasn’t surprised, but it was fun to confirm. It’s going to be tough to keep the secret for one more week since we’re waiting until Xmas Eve to share with friends and family. 

How are you feeling?: Overall really good. Tired today with a bit of a headache, and ready for the holidays so I can have a break. Also crampy, but I’ve been feeling that way the whole pregnancy, so it’s just my preggy MO I guess.

GTKY: Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Why?: I have days of both. Definitely extroverted at work and when I’m with close friends and family. I can be a bit of an introvert around new people, and I definitely enjoy my alone time.

@Stormiewinter I have a hard time saying either way to go with permanent interventions, such as a tubal ligation. We have personally considered it, but with how difficult it is for us to get pregnant (this one is pretty much a miracle), we figure if we're meant to have more, then we'll take it. But that's right now, while I'm pregnant and not while I'm trying to raise 2 kids (3 if you count the really big one). There are a lot of things to consider and unfortunately no one can make that decision for you. If you're already having a csection, it isn't as big a deal to just go ahead with it. But I would make sure it's 1000000% what you both want.

Any appointments? Questions?: I had an appointment today with one of the surgeons I work with to discuss my umbilical hernia. The plan is to wait and see what happens. If it becomes a big problem later in pregnancy she will fix it with just sedation and local anesthetic. If I can wait and have a scheduled c-section, she will fix it at the same time. And if isn't bothering me and I don't have a c-section, she will just fix it sometime in the future. She said it is small so NDB.

Rants/Raves?: Nothing that I can think of right now

How are you feeling?: So tired, headaches, acid reflux

GTKY: Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Why? I would say I am a mix of both depending on the situation. I like going out and being with friends, but I also love staying home and vegging out.

Rants/Raves?: My SO is driving me nuts. He's a big joker and he jokes and plays around until I'm in tears lately. He doesn't take it seriously that he's stressing me out to the point that it spikes my already high blood pressure

How are you feeling?: I'm super emotional and the baby loves kicking me directly in the back. 

GTKY: Do you consider yourself introverted or extroverted? Why? It depends on who I'm around I think

@kfdrive thanks. I feel like I'm overly sensitive right now, too, with my health, hormones and holidays. I think in his own way he's trying to help. It's just not what I need right now

Due date/W+D: I was in group 3 with an EDD of 5/15 but as of yesterday, ultrasound shows I'm 3 days ahead so my new EDD is 5/12, so I'm new here. 20w/4d

Any appointments? Questions?: Appt yesterday with ultrasound went great

Rants/Raves?: Fiance just upgraded my engagement ring and it's beautiful

How are you feeling?: Good besides getting tired easily and I can't walk as fast as I used to
