Hi all,
So this will be my husband and I’s first round of IVF in January. I just got my schedule and was wondering what to expect. I know what the doctor tells me and I have been doing some reading online, I am just wondering what your experience has been. My eggs and ovaries are where the doctor wants to see them, my husband’s sperm is fine. The only issue is that I have suffered from stage 4 endometriosis which has caused my tubes to be blocked/unable to catch the egg from the endometriosis. I have had two surgies in the past two years, hysteroscopy and DN&C. We have done 5 rounds of assisted IUIs and timed intercourse from November of last year to June of this year, all negative. My doctor believes that with my age (I am 32) that we have a better chance because IVF will be bypassing my issue. I am curious what your thoughts are and what I should expect and do going forward with our first cycle! I am excited for this next step but at the same time I am anxious because I want it to work the first time
