I made the mistake of looking up calves for sale in our area. The last thing we need right now is another cow but OMG! I want one so bad! My goat needs to go ahead and pop her babies out. Maybe then the calf fever will go away.
I have another sick kid. I was hoping it was going to skip him but nope.

@mamahmh2 I'm so excited! If our bucks did their jobs we should have at least 3 more due to kid in 4-5months!
@bartonolivia I would probably call your Dr and let them know what's going on. They can probably call in some nausea meds to help. I hope you feel better soon! ❤️
Good grief. One miserable kid on the couch and then there's this kid...
Yep. That's permanent marker. It's going to be a fun day.

@bartonolivia I second what nopegoat said. I had HG my first pregnancy and mustered through a lot without meds. There was no reason to! I am on Promethazine this time around and it’s already helping a lot. You don’t want to risk getting too dehydrated. I remember how tough it was 😥 Thinking about you.
After having DH home for 4 days straight, I’m really dragging this morning. Hoping to at least get to the grocery store after pre school pick up. Temps will drop for a few days here this week, so have so some soup lined up for us!
Sick here myself but not morning sickness. Woke up at 2am and been throwing up and other bathroom nastiness since. Luckily for me DH decided to take a day off and he's been seeing to me. I haven't thrown up in a few hours but I can't stand, can barely situp. Not sure where I picked it up, we saw no family and dididn really go out. DH thinks stress of life finally got to me. Ugh. Haven't been this sick in over five years. Even when I had flu last year, it was just rest and fluids. Sorry, quite whiny feeling.
@foodislove pregnancy effs with your immune system a bit. I usually am the only one that doesn't get sick in the house but of I'm pregnant it's almost a guarantee that I will get sick too. Blah. I hope you feel better soon!
I had to slather diaper cream on Beefy's butt today. We are basically in a swamp at the moment and the mosquitoes and flies are so bad. They have have bitten him like crazy around his tail and he's been scratching it on the fence so it's quite irritated. I'm glad he's a good sport or that would have been hella awkward lol.

@bartonolivia I hate to tell you but mine really ramped up around 10 weeks. I’d say if you can start to manage it with meds before then, it might be a bit easier. Zofran was a godsend, but I waited til 3rd trimester to take it because of the possible effects. I know they know more about it now though. Let us know how that call goes 💕 I hope you get some relief soon.
you didn't eat any romaine lettuce did you @foodislove?

@nopegoat I'm feeling bad because my middle child will be the only one in our family without a summer birthday. Unless I can convince DH to have a 4th I know it's a silly reason to feel bad...
Eeek! I just sent a video announcing to my mom. I wasn’t planning to tell her yet, but H told his mom and a friend today and I want to make sure she hears it from me and not someone else.
Hubs and I are in NYC celebrating our 5th anniversary! (It's actually the second time we've been up here while I've been baby-bakin'...) We hit the box offices today and scored tickets to Dear Evan Hansen and Come From Away, and now I am in bed (yes, at 8:22) barely keeping my eyes open.

The weather is SHITTY! Sorry about that! The commute home was just awful. Both shows are good ones (I work in theater). Enjoy!
I hate complaining about this. But this all day nausea just sucks. I’m not actually throwing up - but kind of want to. Wonder if it would help. I just can’t eat and feel awful and want to lay in bed all day.
Thanks all. I can sit up today at least, but man, haven't been that sick in 12 years. Blech. I was thinking about the lettuce thing, I had a burger takeout on Sunday that had one piece of lettuce, but I had been pretty sure it was iceburg... dunno now.
Sorry for those of you dealing with the all day morning sickness and fatigue. My husband keeps having to be reminded that I'm pregnant, not depressed. "Why are you so tired?" I AM GROWING AN EYEBALL.
@nolemomma14 It's from Ali Wong's comedic piece on Netflix, she's pregnant in both of her shows and I remember being pregnant when her first one came out and just nodding fervently through the whole thing.
Board organization was brought up in the Group 2 thread this week. Do you guys think we should have a pinned "ask your pregnancy-related questions here" thread like March 2019 does to cut down on the one-offs? The description says that if you have a question, post it in that thread to get a quick response. What does everyone think of having a similar thread here?
@hestia14 I kind of feel like no matter what we do, people who don't take the time to know the board will still post them!! With my two previous BMB's, the drive bys really do become less frequent.
@hestia14 I agree that people will still scroll past the pinned posts regardless of what’s in them. Usually it’s anxious mamas looking for help and I don’t really mind gently guiding them into the community by responding. Everyone has done a really great job at that so far and I appreciate the level of warmth and kindness overall in our bmb.
I think the way March did the questions is kind of ridiculous, that thread is 18 pages long at this point and it would be really annoying to scroll through all that to see if your question has been asked before. I think a weekly question thread would probably be a better idea, if people post one-offs they can be directed there and hopefully that will eventually reduce the clutter as people figure out the organization.

I agree with @coco2787, one super long thread would be way too much. I think a weekly or monthly may be the better option here. Something like, December Pregnancy Questions & Concerns?
@wineandcoffee So sorry that it's making you nauseated. Honestly, though, Indian sounds divine atm.
I feel like the threads we have already are enough, it’s just a matter of people taking the time to read a bit and ask questions where they are most likely to be seen by everyone.
Ex: there was a first time mom thread yesterday. Perfectly fine, except there was already a thread for FTMs to check in. There have just been so many random threads started that it got bumped to the second page.
