How many weeks are you?

How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically?

Nausea is back on occasion, otherwise I feel good physically.  Emotionally, I'm in that weird, awful span where there are minimum symptoms but too early to have regular reassurance that baby is fine (like kicks) and weeks between appointments because I'm downgraded to almost-regular-risk.  I busted out my doppler, but this baby likes to hide and I have an anterior placenta again.

Any appointment updates?

No appts in the last two weeks, and another three weeks until the next one --eek!  When we last checked in, I had failed a 1hr glucose test.  I did a week of tracking my blood sugars and my doc agreed that they look good enough that it's not an issue.  Also, NIPT came back low-risk -- yea!

Rants/Raves/Questions?

DD has started sleeping [mostly] through the night!  Also, I think we might be done breastfeeding, which I have all sorts of feelings about.  We had been just nursing at bedtime and distracting any other time that she asks.  She's gone to sleep the past two nights without asking to nurse and just wanting cuddles and her paci.  Such a big girl!

Any milestones coming up (doesn't have to be pgal related)? 

This week marks second tri, which has been my goal milestone.  We are going to start telling people this weekend, so that's a milestone.  From here, I guess it's the anatomy ultrasound at the end of December?

Black Friday, yay or nay?

I used to really like it, would scope the deals and head out in the early AM (never Thurs, though).  Last year and this year, DH has to work and there's no way I'm attempting that with a toddler.  I have a few things I intend to order online, but otherwise we will stay at home.

How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Great. I'm anxious to feel some movement! 

Any appointment updates? Had a midwife appointment Wednesday and finally heard a little heartbeat. Little one was hiding last time we were in so we couldn't hear anything:/ She put in the ultrasound request also so I'm hoping to find out if I've got another boy in there or a baby girl in early December!

Rants/Raves/Questions? Thanksgiving dinner was soooo good yesterday but I forgot my diaper bag at home when we went to my moms so I had to leave as soon as we were done eating and didn't get to have round two. I'd kill for some mashed potatoes right now lol.

Black Friday, yay or nay? I'm getting ready to go shopping now. My mom and I decided years ago that Black Friday was more fun if you shopped for yourself😂 It's a bonus if you find gifts for others while you're out.

feeling nervous- had a bleeding scare last week.

Black Friday, yay or nay?  Nay - if I see something good online I may buy but never have been a go out and shop person- I would rather pay a little extra to avoid the crowds

How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Everything's well except I don't have energy yet. 😣

Any appointment updates? Next appointment is the 16w appointment in about 3 weeks.

Black Friday, yay or nay? Yay but online. Yesterday I went to the mall by our house and it was nuts. I got some cute maternity clothes though. Woohoo!

How many weeks are you? 16w2d

How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Physically- Nausea is so much better, only a little nauseous every morning. I have been having some frequent mild headaches and I am still so tired with no energy. Emotionally- I have my anatomy scan on Tuesday at 16w5d at MFM, I am super nervous about this. With my first pregnancy, the anatomy scan is when we learned with there was something seriously wrong. I am praying that everything is normal and that all the anatomy can be visualized on Tuesday. I guess though if everything can't be visualized they will just scheduled me to come back in a couple weeks. If everything is normal, we plan to tell our families next week and start a baby registry.

How many weeks are you? 17 weeks

How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? Pretty good, afraid to weigh myself as usual 😂

Any appointment updates? Anatomy scan in 2 weeks

Rants/Raves/Questions? I use my Doppler once a week in between appointments now. I didn’t start it until about 14 weeks but I like it now for a little extra reassurance. 

Any milestones coming up (doesn't have to be pgal related)? Just waiting for the anatomy scan 

Black Friday, yay or nay? Sort of yay? Only if there is something big on a good sale that we want. This year I just got a few things online, then my mom and grandma and I went out in the afternoon on Friday just to wander a bit, it wasn’t too busy by that point thankfully.

How are you feeling? Emotionally and physically? I'm doing ok.  I haven't posted much I just cant shake the feeling that I'm just waiting for this to end.

Any appointment updates?  I had an ultrasound this morning to check fluid and cervical length both looked good.

Rants/Raves/Questions? we told our families on Thanksgiving that we were expecting, and did a little gender reveal with my dads Birthday cake.  My Mil asked if we'll name him Rocco which was the name of our son we just lost.  No I already have a son named Rocco whose ashes are in the next room, but thanks for acting like he never existed.  I know this stuff makes people feel awkward, but selfishly I don't care, and mh better say something to her.

Any milestones coming up (doesn't have to be pgal related)? my loss was 19w6d I cant wait to get passed that. Hoping to maybe relax a bit after we hit viability 8 more weeks!

Black Friday, yay or nay?  I'm always home with the kids on Black Friday so no shopping for me.

@troystory17 how terrible of her! I'm sorry you had to deal with such an inconsiderate person over your holiday. You absolutely get to be selfish in this situation. I honestly don't consider it selfish at all to remember and talk about someone who has passed.
