38 weeks 2 days! EDD is next Saturday, 12/1

How is everyone feeling this week? 
I don't think I will make it through this coming weekend. I had cramping all weekend and I lost my mucus plug and had bloody show this morning! Contractions are there, but they aren't close together and don't seem to be getting stronger/longer yet. But I'm super excited anyways! I can feel myself full of adrenaline just thinking that I could start labor any hour/day now. I'm trying to calm myself down, but it's not working! Any of our PAIF graduates have stories when it was still several days/weeks after bloody show and cramping when you went into labor?

Any upcoming appointments? 
We see the OB tomorrow so we'll do another cervical check to see if things really are progressing!

GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans, and what is your favorite thing about the day?
We are supposed to go to DH's parents' house for dinner. We are bringing stuffing, carrots, and pie. My favorite part really is just spending time with family on Thanksgiving and hearing what everyone is thankful for. This year I am most thankful for baby bean! After waiting for him for nearly 7 years, I still can't believe he'll be here any day now!

I'm feeling sore. My lower back is killing me and every time I change positions my pelvis feels like it's going to rip apart. Still have leg and feet swelling but compression socks are really helping. I had a great spurt of energy for a month or two where I nested like crazy, but now I'm feeling exhausted and unmotivated to do anything.

NST/BPP and OB appointment on Wednesday afternoon. 

Question: Anyone else experience an upswing in headaches in 3rd tri? They're not severe or migraine-like and go away with Tylenol, but it just seems like I have a headache at some point every couple of days.

Canadian here, so we already had Thanksgiving 6 weeks ago. Hoping you all have a great holiday and safe travels for anyone out on the road this week. Eat an extra helping of delicious Thanksgiving food for me (my fav is turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce)!

@mag1cbeli3ver good luck!  I believe the mucus plug can keep regenerating so I don't think that's that telling but I could be wrong!  I know with my first pregnancy I was losing it for a while like at least throughout 3rd tri if it didn't start before that.  It always freaked me out!  And cramping can always happen as well, I know false labor can go on for a while as well.  But maybe there's a point that it's more meaningful... like bloody show maybe?  Hopefully things start happening more definitively for you and baby is here soon!

• How is everyone feeling this week?  I'm feeling ok.  Last week I was having a lot of heart palpitations to the point where I feel like I have to cough.  OB said if I get them again to call and he'd have me checked.  Otherwise I've just been so constipated and the hemorrhoids have started despite my taking miralax Is there another cure that is more natural?  Babies heartbeat being irregular is also still stressing me out.
  
• Any upcoming appointments? Nothing this week... next week I have another OB and ultrasound appointment.
  
• GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans, and what is your favorite thing about the day?  We are going to my in laws who live right next door.  Kind of nice so we don't have to host but also they try to make my 3.5 year old DS sit at the table through an entire dinner which annoys me because I just think it's unnecessary.
  
• Don't forget about HDBD or PIP your nursery!  We had an event this weekend I took a pic to show a friend.  Excuse the expressionless face!

@mayflower513 Thank you for sharing! I've heard that the mucous plug regenerates - just another amazing thing our bodies do during pregnancy! I definitely realize my excitement is probably premature at this point. It's rough being a FTM and not knowing what to expect.

You look amazing in your picture! Hope you had fun at your event! Sorry to hear about baby's irregular heartbeat. Hopefully things will be okay when you go in for your appointment next week. I wish I had a cure for constipation. Mine has been pretty bad throughout the 3rd trimester, especially since I started taking iron. I've been taking colace and lots of fiber and that seems to help a little, but I still only have a BM once every few days. I'm curious if others have any remedies that have been effective?

Thanks, @tosh24! Sorry you're dealing with back pain and now the headaches. I haven't really had consistent headaches since back in the first trimester. I'm pretty sure it's a regular pregnancy symptom, though. Glad they tylenol is helping. I wonder if it's triggered by certain types/amounts of food or medications? FX they get better for you!

My back pain is totally gone! But I can’t sleep at night. Have terrible hip pains and then just lie in bed awake. Haha.

I had NST today and another one on Wed...

They do construction in my building so on Thanksgiving Day they will come and work in my apt. It’s gonna be a mess!!! Also, that morning my mom will arrive after a long international flight. So hopefully she’ll be able to rest with all the construction mess in the apt

• How is everyone feeling this week? I am feeling ok, surprisingly I sleep better now. Maybe it is just because I am way more exhausted now. Indigestion is kicking my butt though. I am constantly hungry but if I eat more than a snack portion at a time it come right back out. OB says there is nothing they can help with, baby is just squishing my stomach and that's what causing it. So I am waiting for the little one to drop. Some days he is low but he does not stay that way. Like today I can feel him all the way up to my ribs.
• Any upcoming appointments? Nothing for myself this week but I am interviewing a pediatrician tomorrow! I hope I like him since I don't have a plan B.
• GTKY: What are your Thanksgiving plans, and what is your favorite thing about the day? We are having a family get together at my parents so I am excited for that. Nothing big, just my parents, grandparents and my in-laws. Thankfully everyone gets along just fine. I am just excited for a long weekend and to show off my bump to everyone before LO gets here.

Derek John was born this morning at 11:16 am weighing 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 in long! He is perfect and I can't stop looking at him! Will update with birth story later!

I’m assuming @Joslynj11  also gave birth... or in the process right now!!! Which means I’m the next one!!! My induction is a week from tomorrow!!!

@mag1cbeli3ver yay so excited for you and baby boy! @prudence9-2 I’ve been meaning to get to our page for a couple of days now, but yes they are here!! 
We ended up needing a last minute c section due to baby b was breech. I should be out of the hospital tomorrow and will have a birth story when I can get to a computer 😊 here’s a quick picture though

Thank you everyone! Just absolutely loving life right now! Derek is doing great and so am I (despite some emotional breakdowns- BFing is sooooo hard and draining). We get to go home today!!! But it's only 12° F outside right now- DH is gonna need to warm up the car for like 20 minutes!! So cold!
