Turning 40 a week after this baby is born!

ETA Hopefully. I am due on May 27th and my Birthday is June 5th. I think the latest that they would let me go is to June 3rd and they wouldn't induce me but do a RCS (I think). I keep replaying the scenarios in my head that could possibly lead me to be 40 when this baby is born and I don't like it at all. I purposefully tried to conceive this child so I would have him before I was 40 and will be annoyed if that is not the case. Hahahaha

I'll be 30 almost exactly a month after baby is due (June 14, due May 13... Kind of hope baby waits a day 😂).

Kind of funny with timing for our kids, DD was born right before DH's birthday (I felt really bad for not really having gifts for him last year), but this one will be born pretty close to mine if he makes it to term.  I'll be turning 34 shortly after he's born.

@eatinwatermelonseeds May 13 is my birthday!  I’m 32 and both of my other babies were a bit more than a week overdue, so more than likely will be 33 when this baby comes.  DH is a year older than me, also with a May birthday so he’ll be 34 when babe comes.

@mcewen3 my son was a week over, but this baby has been measuring ahead the whole time. I'm hoping this one will be on time. DH and I are only 5 days apart. I'm 14th, he's 19th. So, baby could come May 14 or 5 days later and both would be cool (please be 14 🙏😂).

DH and I are 5 days apart too, but the other way around.  He's the 8th, I'm the 13th.  Your DH is sandwiched between my DDs, they were born June 18 & 20th.  I'm due May 28th and based on my history it is pretty likely this babe will be June too, although not quite as close to the other two.

I'm actually really surprised how many of us are 26 and up. My last group we had quite a few youngins. 19-22 was the average.

@sleepy33 as someone who just turned 30, thank-you for lumping me all the way down with the 26s.

My first bmb I was pretty young at 23/24... I was also unmarried and DD1 was somewhat accidental. It's interesting to me to think about the demographics of age-at-first-child. In my small farm-ish town, lots of girls I graduated HS with had babies before 23/24, but in DH's suburban area, none of his friends had kids before us.

I had my son at 24, and I was actually older amongst my group of friends. One of my friends had her first at 19, the other 21. So, while looking back and thinking "man, I was so young" 😂 I definitely did not feel young. I got married at 22 and I was like "man, I'm so old to be getting married" 🙄 I was a bit obnoxious 😂

I had my first at 28 and most of the ladies on that BMB were are around the same age and having their firsts as well. Now I’m just old at 36, haha. Baby will be born right around my 37th birthday.

This so awesome! So many of us are in our thirties. I'm 37 now, will be 38 when the baby's born (my birthday is at the end of april). I feel like a lot of the people around me were all having their firsts in their mid-thirties, but know it's not the norm everywhere. Where I live (somewhat rural with farms, but some areas emerging suburban) you occasionally see the high school teenage single mom or couple with a newborn, and I think of how incredibly hard it must be to be in your teens with a baby. But I'll bet people will be saying that about me and DH (his birthday is June 2nd and he'll be 54!😳) I'm hoping what we lack in energy will be made up with patience 🤞

I'm 33, I'll turn 34 on 5/12. Given that both my girls were born after their EDDs (4 and 7 days) I have no doubt I'll be 34 when this baby arrives. It will also likely be a June baby with a 5/30 due date.

I’ll be 33 when baby comes and I’m the first one from my close childhood friends to have a baby. Plenty of other people from my childhood have had kids in the last 5 or so years, but it feels weird to be the first of my close friends this “late” in the game.

I'm 26 and turn 27 on May 31. EDD is May 13 but he/she is my first so I'm sure they'll come late. Hopefully baby doesn't come too close to my bday!! May is the month of bdays for my family. May 1, 3, 9, 11, 12, 19, 29 and 31 (Mom, brothers, sis in law etc). My family is all trying to guess who's bday will be closest to the new LO. 

As for age - I didn't want to try for a baby until 28 but when condoms break, condoms break lol. Que sera, sera.

Ps. Not sure if it matters but DH is 32. Love our age gap! It's been so good for us.
