My boobs ache (don’t roast me yet) but it’s a weird sensation more like let down when your milk first comes in when it’s kinda uncomfortable/painful.
Also anyone ever feel like they are breathing just fine but it’s almost like you can’t get enough oxygen? I remember when I got in the third trimester and sleeping on my back could make me feel that way but not this early and not just going about my day.
Holy f the hip pain at night. Can't seem to sleep for more than an hour or so at a time, if that, and then I'm awake for a good 30 minutes every time. Tried a pillow between my knees last night and it was even worse. I feel so bad, too, I keep waking DH up (although to be fair, part of that is him encroaching all night and I wind up balanced along the edge of the mattress and I have to wake him up to get him to move back over...we have a BIG queen but still not big enough I guess). I found some stretches to try before bed tonight, and will try getting a good walk in too, because this 3.4 hours of sleep BEFORE baby comes is for the birds.
Rolling into week 9. Exhaustion is an all day affair. And the more tired I am, the more nauseous I feel. I don’t throw up, it basically feels like I am hung over and need to eat a greasy cheeseburger to make it pass. Except eating the cheeseburger doesn’t make it any better. I’m also on day four in a row of working late nights at the hospital. Luckily my toddler slept in until 7 this morning, so I got a good five hours of sleep.

@ki1244 I’m having the same problem with my hips. Omg, it’s so damn painful! Definitely worse at night and keeping my from sleeping. So far I’m most comfortable on my back, but I’m a stomach sleeper so that’s not so great 😕 @dcwtada I don’t have the let down feeling yet but definitely heavy and full. Not looking forward to the next few months.
@ki1244 My hips hurt so bad last pregnancy. Waking up every hour, same as you. The two things that really helped was that we bought a new mattress (it was time anyway, we didn’t just buy it because of my hip pain. But ours was just too soft and I was sinking in). I also got a trochanteric belt that really helped with hip and pubic pain.
Insomnia is killing me. I was awake from 2am -4am. Anyone take anything for it? I don't like taking extra meds for no reason, but I'm so tired i need some sleep.
Ladies with hip pain last time I found a lot of help from the chiropractor. I had horrible hip pain that I ignored for a long time. A friend convinced me to go and my legs were 3 inches different in length from my hip being out of place. It happens as everything stretches out. Maybe it could help?
@bakerstreetboys SAME! I'm normally a stomach sleeper (but I've been avoiding that...not sure when it turns bad for Baby but figure everything says to start sleeping on your side ASAP) but the only time it doesn't actually hurt is when I'm on my back. I can usually get a few minutes of relief doing a psoas release stretch in bed, but then I keep falling asleep there on my back for a few minutes and wake up in a panic about how long I've been there. I can nap on our couch just fine... it's SO soft so it just gives under me, which I think I kind of need (I'm pretty hourglass-shaped, so not having something keep my hips up and out of alignment with the rest of my spine has seemed to be better). Gonna have to look at one of those trochanteric belts though (thanks @srscott3!), and maybe see a chiropractor (good call @dntstpbelieveing ) if this keeps up.
My anxiety has seriously ramped up the last week. I can’t drink coffee without panicking. I think it has a little bit to do with the ultrasound on Friday.
It’s funny but I’ve always gotten really tender and painful breasts before AF so that’s like a non-thing for me cause it’s just life. When I take my bra off it’s like they are separating from my flesh. So I wear a shelf bra at night. You know what’s really strange? I’m pretty sure I know the day I conceived because my nipples burned haha it was like they were on fire! 🔥 maybe I’m just weird
The MS is getting better I think for reals. I threw up nothing last night but I haven’t really had all-day nausea. I’m at 11W now so maybe it’s finally starting to gradually disappear. So amazing if it’s true! Also another strange thing, I have a crown on one of my teeth and right before I’m going to vomit it gets sensitive. Maybe it’s just coincidence but it’s weird.
Im sorry to all of you who are having hip pain! I think I might have some of that but nothing so bad that I can’t switch position to get relief. I hope the chiropractor helps for ya’ll!
@meatballs37 I feel the exact same way! When I’m feeling super exhausted, I’m usually very nauseous. And laying flat on my back is the only thing that helps.
Aside from the nausea and exhaustion, my hips/sciatica is killing me! I’ve been trying to do the stretches my chiropractor gave me during my last pregnancy but I think I’m gonna have to make a visit soon
Exhaustion, I really hope I have more energy for Thanksgiving. No matter how I feel throughout the day, once I eat dinner, it really feels like my stomach is filled with rocks. I spend most of my days really dreading the evenings.
Nausea is no joke this time around I can't even cough ie sneeze without running to the RR. eating helps while I'm eating but after I'm done I just feel worse, I had m/s with both DD's but never this extreme I just don't have a time that I feel any better. new symptoms with this one are headaches and insomnia which may go hand in hand. The headaches may also be do to that water makes me puke!
Still lots of nausea and the past few days the zombie exhaustion has set in...no matter how much rest I get I feel like a zombie dragging around. Started some on and off RLP (second pregnancy) and still having on and off pressure/pulls in my uterus. And my skin is soooo dry and itchy no matter how much lotion I use....exzema is flaring up on my arms really bad
@Dcwtada yes! I feel so out of breath just talking at work. It’s like I can’t take deep enough breaths to get enough oxygen. My sister said she felt this way with her 3rd too.
Besides exhaustion, crazy sore boobs, and on and off nausea all day...I’ve also been so emotional! I’m not usually a crier, but I have been crying over everything and nothing the past few weeks. The other day I cried because my fiancé accidentally shook my sparkling water and made it go flat 🙄😂
@jmvander I had been holding on to hope that my MS was going away completely but it seems it has just turned into being sick at night. I feel similarly where even if I feel fine during the day, once I get to evening and I eat dinner my stomach just feels awful and my nausea comes back. And the vomiting has come back but only at night. That is still an improvement tho
also, @Dcwtada and @flutterjen this is my first and sometimes I get really winded just going up a single flight of stairs. I feel like I just did a sprint or something. And then actually for no reason at all I’ll just feel like it’s hard to get enough oxygen. It seems like it has improved as my exhaustion has improved slightly over the last week.
I had a massive amount of stretching/pulling last night in my stomach and today I woke up and my stomach is HUGE.
Is anyone not having breast tenderness anymore? I’m 10w3d and I’ve noticed the last week or so they haven’t been hurting anymore. I don’t remember if it happened with DD.
Did a brisk (living room) walk today -- I swear by walk-at-home videos when it's 12 degrees out like it was today and I don't want to go to the gym. Found a video of some stretches meant to help nighttime hip pain. We'll see if that helps...
I'll say the only other thing that really bugs me about all this is that I feel like I'm just giving DH my leftovers. I actually have been feeling fine during the day, but ever since I was a little girl my stomach has felt weird when I get tired (sore, or nauseous). With the fatigue, especially when I'm not sleeping well, by the time he gets home, I'm just wiped and not feeling well, and it's a struggle to be "myself". I know this is probably going to be our normal for a few years, but I miss having "us" time where I'm not distracted by feeling gross, especially when I know I've been fine for most of the day. I don't want to invite more nausea during the day or anything (and don't want this to come off like I'm rubbing anyone's nose in it -- I have SO much respect and sympathy for the gals dealing with feeling like this, or worse, all day every day). I just feel like this is the part that's unfair for him too -- like yes, pregnancy (at least first tri) kinda sucks, but I know he would take it from me in a heartbeat if he could, and it isn't like he isn't dealing with any of the consequences either. But he's a champ and hasn't complained once.
@ki1244 I know what you mean. This is our first also and it’s an adjustment. I imagine after the baby comes it’s going to be even more of an adjustment. Then the SOs will really be getting the leftovers, lol. I think your feelings are totally valid. Have you talked with your DH about how you’re feeling?
with the sex thread going on I just thought of another possible symptom though I feel nauseous and horrible I don't feel the need to keep at 10 ft radius from DH, quite the opposite this time around!🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
@antera23 yeah, although he just says "oh, it's ok" and "I'm not worried about that" and all the things he's supposed to say. And if he was like "Yeah, actually, I wish you'd focus on me more instead" I'd probably want to drop kick him. He's just been phenomenal, both with the physical symptoms AND the emotional ones, and confirms every day why I married him. But it doesn't make that adjustment (and it is one for sure -- it's been just us, without even a pet, for five years) any less tough.
@wearyfuzzball thanks! I did try lemonade last week twice, the first time it was so good and I was so happy that I found something that worked but I tried it again later and I couldn't even finish the glass. maybe if I make it myself and adjust what I like and don't it'll be better. the only way I can seem to tolerate water is when its slushy form but if i let it stand to long I won't be able to finish it. This is so weird for me water is something I normally have no problem drinking.
@vv826 I'm in the same exact boat! Before I was pregnant I was drinking a gallon of water a day at room temp (never liked cold water) and now I can only drink ice cold water, with lemon
@vv826 I can’t drink water either. It’s killing me, especially because I live in AZ and so I’m basically in a perpetual state of slight dehydration now. I don’t know what else to drink. Water is all I ever drink so Idfk what else to drink and I bet it would change every day anyways much like all my other food aversions. I’m thinking about trying it in slushie form and maybe with different juices but I don’t know if that’s even going to help. Lemon and like in the water was working but now it makes me nauseous just thinking about it

I can’t stand lemon and water, my saving grace my last pregnancy was a couple slices of cucumber in water (not even a cucumber person here). But it almost made the water taste refreshing without giving it much flavor. Also if none of those work sometimes sipping on warm bone broth was so good especially when it’s cold. Not quite water, not quite soup. Easy to go down and didn’t feel like I had a brick in my stomach afterwards.
I bought one of those 16oz infusing cups with a straw and just experiemented with different fruit/cucumbers and things like ginger and mint until I found a good one - water was one of the hardest things for me to handle.
Today I am SO hungry, but I'm afraid to eat too much or the wrong thing and upset my stomach. But on the flip side, I'm worried to have a hungry stomach which could flare up the MS. Ugh. The struggle is real.
@wearyfuzzball@tuxielove93@Dcwtada it looks like we are all in the same boat and though it sucks for all of us I'm glad I'm not alone. I'm looking into infusing cups right now.
@wearyfuzzball this is literally my struggle 24/7 if I eat I'm nauseous but if I don't I'm nauseous I only feel okay while eating but I obviously can't do that all day!
@wearyfuzzball I had that really bad a week or so ago. The best thing I found is to just think about what I feel like eating and then make a small portion and slowly snack on it. Sometimes that would involve me eating like 4 sheets of graham crackers. Just do what feels and sounds appealing and go slowly. Right now I’m kinda fine in the morning and during the day. Around 4-5 pm I start to feel really nauseous and might vom after eating or around 8-9 pm.
I can second the water not being super appealing even though my nausea in general has improved. The lemon water really does work for me. I can slowly sip liquids but I needed something that was caffeine free and not loaded with calories (I.e juices or milk)
@chrssyms I'm totally on board with eating whatever sounds appealing at the moment.. which has turned into cheez its and a blueberry muffin today. It was a difficult concept to grasp at first because I have been super strict with my diet this year and was stressing about not sticking to it. Now that I've thrown that idea away, I feel much better.
@wearyfuzzball It’s like I can only eat junk food right now. I’m sitting here eating potato chips and about to make boxed Mac and cheese. MS does bad things to me. And for reference, I’m a vegan who generally tries to eat super healthy but it’s just not happening right now. I can’t stomach the idea of any vegetables, beans, or rice and most fruit. I just have to eat whatever I can eat right now.

You guys... I go to nursing homes 3 days a week as a part of my job. I had been doing ok, but I got a cold this weekend and I am probably dehydrated which is making my nausea worse. Yesterday I thought I was going to die. I had to sit in my car for like 20 minutes before each visit, psyching myself up. The hangover nausea is 100x worse this week. Here I was, being all smug that I had escaped the worst of it.
Had a tuna sandwich for lunch (YUM I want like six more now). I was all excited because the shop has one of those freestyle coke machines so I thought I was going to have lots of caffeine-free drink options...NOPE apparently they downscaled. I'm not a big lemonade fan, but they had sparkling water as an option and just that with a splash of strawberry lemonade was SO good. Also Crystal Light has been my lifesaver...half a packet in my big 24-oz cup has helped a ton with getting water down without a bunch of calories.

@carleym93 To be honest, my boobs were never really "sore". Maybe a little tender, but mostly very "full" feeling (if that makes sense?)
