What is the best thing that happened to you this week?

I tried one of those electric Lime scooters which was so much fun!

...and then I proceeded to *almost* hit a runner. Needless to say I decided to end up my motor scootin’ career.

DH really started working on the island he’s building me. It’s starting to take shape and I can’t wait until it’s done!

We went out of town for the day yesterday to meet a new family memeber and to see family. it was nice to get away for even just the day. 
Also had life changing lasagna. it was the best I've ever had

When I got an x ray of my wrist last week, they noticed I had an old fracture on my thumb knuckle (probably not the correct medical term lol). Weird thing to be excited about but I told my swim coach so many times that it was broken and he told me to get back in the pool. I felt so validated 😂

I paid off one of my loans! AHHH. 

@b_1029 It's seriously so funny you mention that "thumb knuckle" because I have had issues with mine for so long. It will get all swollen and hurts haha. They just tell me to put heat on it.

@lillywonderland I am trying to picture this Lime scooter episode...except I can only imagine the Disney cartoon Alice on the scooter and I can't stop laughing! 

I got a really sweet email from a former student of mine who is now in high school.  She just wanted to say hello and update me on how she is doing.  I'm so proud of this kid and I can't wait to see where life takes her.

I had a really successful day at work, first day after a promotion, and first day back after a conference.

MH and I just had a really fun, easy-going weekend. We ate out too much, spent a little too much money, and didn't get as much done around the house as I might have liked, but it also felt more like when we were dating and not living together so we'd plan these elaborate day-long/weekend-long things to spend as much time together as possible. We're SUPER different, so a lot of days marriage can be a bit of work for us, so it was great to have some time where everything just clicked.
